E-mail: adelton@ifma.edu.br This research aims to describe using techniques of scientific and technological forecasting information about the vegetable species Hibiscus sabdariffa L. present on the banks of national and international data evaluating its chemical aspects and pharmacological/medical applications. For this, searches were conducted in scientific data bases Web of Science and Scopus and patent banks: National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The bases studied, Scopus and WIPO were obtained which results in more number of publications and patents filed. Nigeria was the country that published on hibiscus in the 2007-2017 period, followed by India and Taiwan. China was the country with the highest number of registered patents, holding 53% of the results. Brazil has a low proportion in the number of deposits. Documents found in the WIPO classified into sections A and C of the IPC classification, with most of them included in subclass A61K (preparations for medical, dental or hygienic purposes). Against this problem, several studies show the importance of innovating the way of teaching and learning, as shown in the methodology of Project-basead pedagogy. In this work, we elaborated a didactic sequence that allowed the discourse about elements that guide the theme of agriculture and human health, through an investigative science teaching based on experimental studies within the project pedagogy. The methodological procedures consisted of a qualitative approach, allowing to capture the relationship between the subjects and the research object. The application of the didactic sequence was performed during the Biology teaching internship by students of the Biological Sciences course, in high school classes of the Instituto Federal de Pernambuco Campus Vitória. In the first moment, there was a dialogued exposition of the proposed project, as well as a rescue of knowledge that was necessary for the maximum use of the students. In the second moment, debates were raised about diseases caused by parasitic diseases through water and food and, later, the use of pesticides and their consequences for human health. At the last moment, we propose an investigative activity in the field, where we collect water from dams near the school and analyze the watercolor, the presence of feces and other elements. Students had to explain the findings by searching for scientific articles in the Scielo journal, thus introducing scientific literacy within the proposed project-based pedagogy. In addition to the literary research, the students investigated the samples in one of the institution's laboratories, where they had various equipment, including optical microscope and pH meter. The final results were organized and later presented and discussed properly. As a final product, students made an informational pamphlet containing the survey data. To select the most adequate model the purpose the work, we realize tests and comparative analyses for to search which model presented better adjust e consequently the better capacity to realize prevision to insolation levels in the stipulated period in Garanhuns. In the research was utilize the daily data to radiation levels in the city for the analyze cycle and information to others variables like air humidity, temperature, wind characteristics (direction, gust and speed), among others, available by Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (INMET). For comparative analyze between models, was utilize the tests Dicker-Fuller Increased,Shapiro-Wilk, Kruskal-Wallis, looking verify the stationary, normality and seasonality, respectively, for models in study. Too, the models types compared ARIMA and ARIMAX the similar origin, this reforce the importance to accurate application to tests and comparative analyses. Was constacted the better model applied is the ARIMAX, that identify the cycles of growth and decrease in the levels of radiation during the study period. For forecast, for the next 10 years, it is expected that even with the occurrence of periodic behavior, the variability should increase. The objective of the present work was to study the horizontal structure, spatial distribution and forest composition in the Tapajós National Forest in a forest management area in the municipality of Belterra Pará. This study was carried out in the Amambé Forest Management Area (AMF). Tapajós National Forest. The climate of the region is Ami, according to the Köppen classification, with an average annual temperature of 25.5 ° C. The data from this study came from a 100% inventory conducted by COOMFLONA (Flona de Tapajós Mixed Cooperative). Diversity was calculated using Shannon index (H '), and uniformity through Pielou (J) equability. Regarding the horizontal structure, the following parameters were considered for each species: Absolute Density (AD) and Relative Density (DR); Absolute Dominance (DoA) and Relative Dominance (DoR); Absolute Frequency (FA), Relative Frequency (RF) and Value Importance Index (IVI). For spatial distribution the Payandeh index (1970). The study area had a size of 1,723.70 ha, which identified 20,561 individuals (11,23 ind.ha) distributed in 31 families and 100 different species. The botanical families that presented the largest number of individuals were Sapotaceae (5,624), Fabaceae (4,841) and Lecythidaceae (3,708). Regarding species richness, the families with the largest representation were Fabaceae (37), Lauraceae (7), Moraceae (5) and Sapotaceae (5). The most abundant species in the area, in descending order, were: Manilkara huberi (Ducke) A. Chev (maçaranduba), Couratari guianensis Aubl (Tauari) and Pouteria bilocularis (H.Winkl.) Baehni (guava). In this context, the area presented a Shannon Wiener Index (H ') of 3.65 and Pielou (J) equability of 0.79. The study area showed a growing number of individuals in diameter class centers (CCDAP) from 45 cm to 95 cm, not following the “inverted j” pattern common in unequal forests. Regarding volume, the area presented 69, 54 m3.ha, according to the spatial distribution by the Payandeh (Pi) index. 84% of the species presented aggregate distribution, 10% clustering tendency and 6% random. From these data we can infer that the area has high species diversity and well distributed.
