It first broke out in Wuhan, China, and then spread to other countries including Indonesia. The public is in uncertainty and receives a lot of information about Covid-19 through various media. This condition is exacerbated by the spread of hoax related to Covid-19 which is difficult to contain. The purpose of this study was to analyses society's behavior related to the spread of the Covid-19 hoax. This research uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. The results of the study concluded that respondents' knowledge about Covid-19 and hoax was very adequate. However, most respondents are hesitant and are in a position that can sometimes distinguish hoax, sometimes not because of the large amount of information obtained every day. The public panic at Covid-19 caused hoax to continue to be spread in the hope that the information could be useful in preventing and treating. Dalam situasi krisis dan tidak pasti, PMI asal Bantul yang berada di Hong Kong mengandalkan komunikasi menggunakan platform WhatsApp grup “Bantul in Hong Kong” agar tetap terhubung dengan rekannya. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan motif penggunaan grup WhatsApp “Bantul in Hong Kong” oleh PMI selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam pada anggota grup melalui snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan grup WhatsApp “Bantul in Hong Kong” bertujuan untuk interaksi sosial, mencari informasi, mencari hiburan, relaksasi dan kenyamanan, berbagi informasi, pengawasan, serta tumbuhnya komunikasi empati. Di samping itu, penggunaan platform ini ternyata juga menimbulkan efek negatif berupa iritasi komunikasi pada anggota grup. Kata Kunci: Platform komunikasi, grup WhatsApp, pekerja migran Indonesia Communication is an important aspect for Indonesian Migrant Workers' survival (PMI) in Hong Kong during the COVID-19 pandemic. In a crisis and uncertain situation, PMI from Bantul in Hong Kong communicate using the WhatsApp group \"Bantul in Hong Kong\" to stay connected with their partners. For this reason, this research aims to describe the motives of using the WhatsApp group \"Bantul in Hong Kong\" by PMI during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research employed a qualitative case study approach. The Data was collected using in-depth interviews towards the WhatsApp group members which was selected by snowball sampling. The results showed that the motives of using WhatsApp group \"Bantul in Hong Kong\" were: social interaction, information seeking, entertainment, relaxation and comfort, sharing information, monitoring the other, and growing of communication empathy. In addition, the use of this platform also has negative effects such as communication irritation to group members. The technology most widely used for WiFi services is the IEEE 802.11 family of standards. To support the Internet of Things (IoT) era, 802.11ah standard technology has developed, and the standard is intended to provide a low-cost mode of operation, with a wider coverage area, and can support thousands of devices per cell. This paper discusses IEEE 802.11ah Standard Network Planning for the Internet of Things Application (Case Study: Smart Meter Using WiFi.id Network in Bandung), to improve network quality in terms of coverage and capacity to improve the efficiency of the WiFi network and so that it can supports the Internet of Things (IoT) service. Network planning using 802.11ah for the internet of things application with a smart meter case study using the WiFi.id network has been successfully carried out. To cover the entire area of Bandung, 23 sites are required. In the capacity, the Tx slots needed to cover possible smart meters for each site are only 9 tx slots out of a total of 100 tx slots. The Rantepao Art Center building is one of the art buildings located in Tana Toraja, precisely in downtown Rantepao, North Toraja district. The problem is that during this time, the Rantepao art center building only introduces Toraja traditional clothes by means of dialogue, beside of books or catalogs those available there. Efforts are needed on how to present a model of introduction of Toraja traditional clothing and accessories in a more attractive and interactive threedimensional form. Thus the tourists can easily understand each of the Toraja traditional clothing model and its accessories. We use marker based tracking with Augmented Reality technology. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines marker objects into a real three-dimensional environment and displays them in real time. The use of industrial machine technology is one of the most important factors in efforts to facilitate human work, but an industrial machine is inseparable from work failure that can hinder the production process and cause harm to the industry. This study aims to detect a failure in industrial machinery by using video data of industrial machine movements recorded using a webcam camera. For the preprocessing stage, the image is resized then converted to grayscale imagery and segmented using the thresholding method, then morphological operations are performed with an opening operation, feature extraction is done by changing the binary image into a vector data that is used as input data in the classification process using the Learning Vector Quantization Neural Network Algorithm (LVQ NN) version 1. For easy access to the network, DHCP service become a standard feature that must exist, because ordinary users no longer need to think about procedures for configuring IP addresses, all of which have been done automatically by the DHCP service. But it turns out that there is a security threat to DHCP service, namely DHCP Starvation attacks that can be exhausting the availability of IP addresses in DHCP service so that the configuration of IP address automatically can no longer be done on the client. Various methods such as authentication, cryptography, and machine learning are used by researchers in preventing DHCP Starvation attacks, but the issue of effectiveness and efficiency still opens up further research opportunities. Through this research, alternative methods of measurement on road segments proposed by using GPS through vehicle speed calculations are measured based on latitude and longitude displacement applied to mobile applications.The method used to calculate vehicle speed is using the method of calculating the distance between Euclidean Distance coordinates, the acquisition of the speed results is then used to determine the determination of the congestion status. The result of distance calculation is still in units of degree, therefore it is necessary to convert from coordinate unit (degree) to unit distance (km) by multiplying the distance of one degree of earth based on latitude. The study involved leaders of several telecommunication business units in Indonesia as research respondents. The research used the descriptive and the explanatory survey method using Partial Least Square-Path Modeling (PLS-PM). The results showed that although the business strategies of the telecommunication companies in Indonesia were included in the good category; however, they were still not optimal because were mostly created through competitive strategy. Whereas, the cooperative strategy turned out to have a more dominant contribution to create superior competitive advantage in a turbulent business environment. For this reason, a strategy is needed to make the people become aware of the issue of land grabbing. So far the strategy that has been done by activists, academics and related parties to defend the peasents who have been violence, discriminated and criminalized with conventionally. The purpose of this study is to analyze the communication strategies of peasant resistance movements on social media. The method used in this study is virtual etnography with participatory online observation techniques through two stages; studying and carrying out details the object. The researcher doing online partisipatif observation to the Instagram accounts @jogja_darurat_agraria by identifying elements of: communicators, communicants, messages, media, and effects. The results showed that the account already has carried out a well strategy communication, so that their ideological message well deliver to the communicant.
