A pet robot has a healing effect for suitably developing companionship with people. A plenty of researches pointed out that the interaction between human and robot is important. This paper introduces the concentration and conditioning to model the emotion and behavior of a pet robot. For the overall system of this pet robot, a condition matrix is properly designed to support the pet robot for the adaption of several kinds of stimuli and response about behaviors. The behavior controller is achieved by the means of a neural network with learning mechanism, which can be trained for the behavioral control of voice, expression and action. All these mechanisms are established by psychological principles, accordingly the pet robot can behave naturally.","PeriodicalId":174849,"journal":{"name":"2014 7th International Conference on Ubi-Media Computing and Workshops","volume":"105 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124068472","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cellular Floating Vehicle Data (CFVD) which is one of these techniques analyzes the cellular network data to estimate real-time traffic information with the higher coverage and the lower cost. Therefore, this study proposes an urban road segment determination method based on CFVD for tracking Mobile Stations (MSs). First, the cell ID and timestamp of cellular network signals (e.g., Handovers) which are generated by MS are recorded. Data mining technique is used to analyze the data for determining the road segment which is driven by MS user. The experiment results show the average accuracy of proposed method which is 93% is better than naive Bayes classification, decision tree, support vector machine, and back-propagation neural network. Therefore, the proposed road segment determination method based on CFVD can be used to track MSs and estimate traffic information for ITS.","PeriodicalId":174849,"journal":{"name":"2014 7th International Conference on Ubi-Media Computing and Workshops","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130437730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study proposed the whole and individual health interval for the four vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure in the univariate analysis. According to the four healthy intervals, this study sets three alarm color of red (R), yellow (Y) and green (G) in accordance with the severity. In the multivariate analysis, this study used the Hotelling T2 control chart method to consider three vital signs such as body temperature, pulse and blood pressure at the same time. This study sets the multivariate early warning by using the upper limit identified from the Hotelling T2 control chart and the orange (O) warning light is turned on when the observed value exceeds the upper limit.","PeriodicalId":174849,"journal":{"name":"2014 7th International Conference on Ubi-Media Computing and Workshops","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115690450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
