Quel que soit leur statut juridique dans le pays d'accueil (demandeur d'asile, résident temporaire ou permanent, détenteur de passeport national), ces migrants sont autorisés à accéder à l'éducation formelle dans un établissement scolaire. L'éducation fournie dans les centres de détention pour les demandeurs d'asile est exclue de l'analyse1.
