Al-Mu'minun/23:1-17. Most researchers seem more inclined to approach the Kauniyyah verses from the standpoint of scientific explanation, including when interpreting verses related to the process of human creation (embryology) in Q.S. Al-Mu'minun/23:1-17. If scrutinized, HAMKA’s interpretation of these is present in disputing disbelievers' rejection of the phenomena of physical resurrection (Ba'tsu al-Ajsad) on the Day of Judgment. This study is qualitative in form and was created using a literature review using the Nazhariyyat al-Siyaq approach (نظرية السياق) to see the substance of these verses from the context of their appearance in Surat al-Mu'minun while considering the similarity of their context which exist in Chapter al-Hajj and al-Ghafir. The results of this study indicate that HAMKA interprets the verses in Q.S. Al-Mu'minun/23:1-17 by dividing them into two clusters. First, verses 1-11 are about the characteristics of a believer person. Second, verses 12-17 are about the process of human creation, which ends with a warning about the day of resurrection. HAMKA combines verses 12, 13, and 14, which discuss the process of human creation, into one cluster with verses 15-17 about the day of resurrection. In the writer's opinion, through the Nazhariyyat al-Siyaq approach (theory of context), it appears that the presence of verses 12, 13, and 14 (which talk about the process of human creation) is more of an invitation to reflect on the origin of human beings, where did they come from, how did they live and where will they return? In other words, HAMKA's interpretation of verses 12, 13, and 14 has more of an eschatological nuance (i.e., belief in the existence of a physical resurrection [ba'tsu al-ajsad] on the Day of Resurrection) rather than a scientific nuance.","PeriodicalId":173945,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124297929","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides that, its purpose is also to determine which religiosity dimension significantly correlates to the Indonesians' donation intention during the Covid-19 outbreak. The research questions whether gender, financial income, and religiosity influence Indonesian people's donation behavior in the 2021 Covid-19 pandemic era. The data was collected through questionnaires to 334 respondents in 34 provinces in Indonesia that were then analyzed using Partial Least Square (P.L.S.); it was found that financial income, gender, and religiosity significantly influence donation behavior. The religiosity dimension significantly influences donation behavior is the sincerity of Zakat (Islamic charity tax for wealth) paying routine behavior. In contrast, the religion literature study behavior significantly negatively influences the respondents' donation behavior. This study successfully proves that there are influences of gender, financial income, and religiosity on the respondents' donation behavior. This is very important for many stakeholders, like the government, N.G.O.s, and Zakah Institution, so they can formulate policies and strategies to increase the participation of Indonesian in donating.","PeriodicalId":173945,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116798949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study conducted qualitative methods with specific data collection. It analyzed the instruments and found that the informants, consisting of educators and religious figures, deeply understood religious moderation based on the al-Qur'an and hadith, which emphasized Islam as a moderate religion. The principle of restraint (Wasathiyyah) in Islam is, in fact, equivalent to the direction or value of religious moderation programmed by the current government. Then, religious moderation is to be implemented in education. In that case, some components should be prepared carefully to avoid overlapping or duplicating with other programs. For example, several implementation models, with their respective advantages and disadvantages, include autonomous, integrative, collaborative, and enrichment models in education. In addition, what is also very urgent to formulate is the right curriculum, tools and learning designs, and competencies of educators, including an assessment tool which, of course, is more oriented towards attitudes and behavior no longer trapped in the pathology of learning that has been ongoing, more focused on fulfilling the cognitive domain.","PeriodicalId":173945,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125927356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The conflict of Imamiyah that leads to bloodshed seems to have no end at all times. Of course, this should not happen in Indonesia, which is known as a plural country. Of this problem, some scholars are called to write a book to counter Shi'aism in Indonesia. One is KH Sya'roni Ahmadi, with the text 'al-Faraid al-Saniyah.' This paper aims to explore KH. The legitimacy of truth is crucial to confirm the validity of the tradition. Since its source is other than the Qur'an and hadith, Turath is still debatable. Turath criticism is part of the attitude that must be done for the legitimacy of Turath. This practice has the potential to be non-Islamic. Among the Turath practices that need to be legitimized by legal arguments is the method of reading Yasin Fadhilah at the Al-Anwar III Islamic Boarding School. This study of the legitimacy of Yasin Fadhilah's practice uses the views of Ibn 'Ashur with his maqasid shari'ah theory. Research from the maqasid shari'ah perspective will accomplish the view of making law from all sides. Yasin Fadhilah is a tradition of praying with the intermediary of a Yasin chapter carried out based on orders from a teacher from the ahlul-bait of the Prophet Muhammad. From the perspective of Maqasid Shari'ah, the practice of reading the chapter is legal in Islamic law, even though it is included in the Tahsiniyyāt category.","PeriodicalId":173945,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130159592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Islamic banking institutions limit contact with the agricultural sector because of the negative assumptions already attached to the gloomy prospects for agriculture. In contrast, the agricultural industry players have formal limitations in negotiating with banking institutions. From a local perspective, this research on 'Tibbun nabawi' seeks to open up opportunities for both parties in a productive and beneficial partnership. This is literature research, a qualitative approach utilizing the study of the living Quran. Utilization of the financing management pattern with a modified joint responsibility system is the most crucial result in this study so that partnerships between Islamic banking institutions and the agricultural industry can be realized immediately.","PeriodicalId":173945,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126765180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Starting from the concern of some contemporary Islamic thinkers about the limitations of the classical Quran in overcoming human problems that are always dynamic, hermeneutics has become a much-demanded approach. In addition, the methodological principle of classical interpretation tends to forget the role of human participation in interpreting the Quran. Nevertheless, the practice of the reception approach has stagnated in the study of the living Quran, which only performs a simple analysis of a tradition into three reception typologies: exegesis, functional, and aesthetic, without any more profound critique. This article aims to describe Hans Robert Jauss’ hermeneutics of reception as a relevant offer to fill the void of Quranic studies from the reader's perspective. For this reason, this article is compiled using qualitative methods based on literature studies so that essential aspects that need to be considered as material for hermeneutics of reception analysis can be well elaborated. There are three crucial aspects to the hermeneutics of reception; the Horizon of expectations, the three levels of reading, and the validity of the aesthetic experience.","PeriodicalId":173945,"journal":{"name":"International Journal Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128376959","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research is field research with research subjects, namely the perpetrators of underage marriages who are Javanese in the Lingga Bayu District. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. From this, the results of this study indicate that the perpetrators of underage marriages are closely related to their rights and obligations, which are closely tied to the compilation of Islamic law. The marriages below are generally accepted and understood by Muslims who are 'experts' of Islamic law and are educated but not by the general public. As a follow-up, in reaching this understanding, the perpetrators of underage marriages need to understand the rights and obligations of husband and wife, especially regarding the leadership or control of the household in the hands of the husband.
