The primary objectives for portfolio managers are to maximize the expected return of their investments while minimizing the associated risk. These two objectives translate into different portfolio selection factors, and there is variety of models presented in the literature considering different combinations among such factors. In this study, we illustrate the main portfolio selection factors and conducted a survey filled by Egyptian asset managers to identify the necessary factors to be considered when investing in Egypt equity market. Based on the survey analysis, we concluded which factors to be considered, and which not to be considered when building multi-criteria portfolio management models for investing in Egypt equity market.","PeriodicalId":172646,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Software and Information Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129756820","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A regular baby check is not easy. There are different products in the market that help parents to monitor their babies. Some products are wearable systems that are sensor-based and the majority are camera-based. It is either video streaming and parents check it often or sensors information that is about heartbeat, temperature or motion. These systems are not cheap especially for families who live in low income countries. This work presents a low cost novel idea that provides parents information about their babies' discomfort states while sleeping. The system is based on real data which is not common for other systems. The system implemented reports state about the baby like being wet, sick, feeling hot, moving, or a combination of these states. The architecture of the system has four layers. The first layer is the input sensors that are room temperature, baby temperature, urine, and sound sensors to capture different information about the baby and his/her environment. The second layer is the storage, where the captured data is stored. The third is a developed classifier to accurately predict the baby states. M- SVM and KNN algorithms have the best accuracy.","PeriodicalId":172646,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Software and Information Engineering","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130540774","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nonetheless, usability-experts work hard to disguise under an end-user persona, and imitate the context of the original domain and workplace to its maximum, but it hardly is an imitation of the original settings. Hence, these techniques are consistently reported to miss usability problems related to real task scenarios. The problem is especially evident in the particular case of Heuristic Evaluation, where the set of rules used for evaluations weighs domain and task orientation less than other attributes, contributing further to negligence of task and domain related problem. It is thus advised to supplement usability-expert based discounted inspections with expensive end-user based testing---a privilege otherwise unavailable to low-budget projects. The authors in this work, however, propose and test using dual-personae evaluators employed in discounted inspections. The results of the experimentation are promising. The evaluators identify a large number of task and domain related problems, as compared to the number of problems identified in other dimensions during the activity. The authors conclude that such evaluators are especially useful in the case of low-budget projects where expensive testing is not possible.","PeriodicalId":172646,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Software and Information Engineering","volume":"246 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116285311","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this research relies mainly on helping designers of the small satellites of Cube Sat type to verify the efficiency of the satellite structure and components to pass the launching successfully. The design goes through several stages, starting from drawing the first CAD model then analyzing it using programs such as ANSYS in which the satellite object and its components will be selected. The selection of the material is carefully done to avoid their natural frequencies compatibility with the launch vehicle frequencies. The next stage is the manufacturing of engineering model and testing it to determine the natural frequencies. If the results are not satisfactory, the design has to be modified which is time consuming and expensive. For this reason, Launch Satellite Compatibility Decision Support System (LSCDSS) is created to help CubeSat designer to measure Compatibility of structure at natural frequencies and launch vehicles vibrations. Firstly, materials are selected from the system database and CAD model simulation analysis results are inserted. After passing this stage, lab test results are inserted and the system makes correlations between the results to get fast and more accurate decision. (LSCDSS) gives maximum possible flexibility in the design process, checks the structure material and gives indication if the satellite structure is safe or not to launch with selected launcher vehicle.","PeriodicalId":172646,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Software and Information Engineering","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126360687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, simulations are usually used. This paper presents a simulation study results for RPL protocol in high-density networks. Two objective functions were used, namely: the Objective Function Zero (OF0) and the Minimum Rank with Hysteresis Objective Function (MRHOF)). Grid topology is studied, and three performance metrics were used: Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), Power Consumption, and Number of hops (Hop Count). The evaluation and comparison of the two objective functions are based on three parameters: number of nodes, successful reception ratio (RX) and network topology. The results of the simulation disclose that these parameters have a significant effect on the PDR, consumed power, and the Hop Count. The results show that the RPL performance can provide a better performance for OF0 that MRHOF could not provide.","PeriodicalId":172646,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Software and Information Engineering","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122000892","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most software errors are captured and detected through the software GUI layer. Manual testing for GUIs has its problems. It lacks in capturing all different cases and takes a huge time from the software tester to plan, design and re-design the testing suites in case of UI change. Old techniques in the area of test-case generation are not fully-automated or dependent on human inputs. This paper presents a test-case generation model to build a testing suite for webpages using its HTML file. The proposed model has two branches. The first one focuses on generating test cases for each web-element individually based on its type. The other branch focuses on generating test cases based on different paths between web-elements in the same webpage. It is also concerned with eliminating redundant test-cases using a supervised learning, feed-forward, dynamic artificial neural network that changes number of inputs according to generated cases per web page. The proposed system has been evaluated using several datasets. Results show a significant enhancement in the test-case generation procedure.","PeriodicalId":172646,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Software and Information Engineering","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131899150","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compared with general workflow system, it can provide optimization of resource management and automatic scheduling of task. However, cloud workflow technology still lacks flexibility and cannot response to the changing business requirements in real time. In order to cope with the changing of business requirements, a dynamic workflow change model 3D-DWFN is proposed. The model is verified to be correct and the migration strategy is set up, thus the dynamic change algorithm is realized. It is applied to a business management system; the experiment shows that it is more effective than general workflow model.","PeriodicalId":172646,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Software and Information Engineering","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115813003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
