In this paper, we used Artificial Intelligence to train computer such that it can classify news according to the content of the news. When the category of news did not mark or flag error, the computer can quickly mark the correct news category to reduce the cost and time of human resource. Furthermore, we can build a news classification system for social networks. The system can classify the news from different news media. We used web crawler, data preprocessing, Jieba and NLP to train the computer. After many times to trainings, a large amount of training data, the experimental results show that the accuracy rate of news classification is 97.43%.","PeriodicalId":171125,"journal":{"name":"2020 Indo – Taiwan 2nd International Conference on Computing, Analytics and Networks (Indo-Taiwan ICAN)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129481540","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This process can be performed by any creature possessing lungs, including humans. A scream is a natural action, with a strong emotional aspect, like fear, pain, surprise, joy, anger, and others. But there is a difference between the scream in fear or pain and joy or surprise. This research is based on the study of such parameters those separates a scream of distress from a hoot in the joy of a person specifically women, having objective to design and develop security devices based on women emotions to provide them security. The present study has used high-reliability audio recordings to capture the acoustic features of both high pitch signals of women. Results indicated that perceptually categorized both the signals have distinct acoustic features. Distress scream reflect a slightly higher level of intensity than joyful scream. Moreover, the duration of the signal plays a vital role.","PeriodicalId":171125,"journal":{"name":"2020 Indo – Taiwan 2nd International Conference on Computing, Analytics and Networks (Indo-Taiwan ICAN)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116048987","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are many problems with object tracking, such as appearance changes, distance from the camera, occlusion, moving too fast, and so on. In this paper, we combine the pre-trained pedestrian association model with a pedestrian's appearance and moving model to achieve better tracking performance. We trained a neural network base on a large dataset of pedestrian classification, together with the moving model of an object's position, velocity, and acceleration, to help us predict the trajectory more accurately. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed method, the Multiple Object Tracking (MOT) benchmark was used. Experimental results showed the proposed method achieves reasonable tracking results.","PeriodicalId":171125,"journal":{"name":"2020 Indo – Taiwan 2nd International Conference on Computing, Analytics and Networks (Indo-Taiwan ICAN)","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115555198","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the edge device, for real-time data analysis of data, a lightweight deep learning neural network (DNN) is required. In this paper, the lightweight model MobileNet is used to design an energy efficiency hardware accelerator at the edge device. In the software framework (Tensorflow), the quantization-aware training technique with post-training fine-tuning quantization is applied to quantize the model to improve training convergence speed and parameter minimization. In hardware design considerations, fixed-point operations can reduce computational complexity and memory storage space as compared to floating-point operations, which directly affects the power consumption of the circuit. The proposed MobileNet hardware accelerator can achieve low power consumption and is suitable for the edge devices.","PeriodicalId":171125,"journal":{"name":"2020 Indo – Taiwan 2nd International Conference on Computing, Analytics and Networks (Indo-Taiwan ICAN)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124449946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

IoT devices emerging from WSN to RFIDs are capable of sensing, actuating and sharing data but are resource-constrained devices meaning these devices have limited memory, storage, and computation power. Thus, IoT devices are incapable of securing themselves from various security and privacy threats. Moreover, current Cloud-IoT architectures are centralized; managed and controlled by Trusted Third parties also individuals have no control over their data. Fog-IoT integration has better latency, response time and is much secure compared to Cloud-IoT integration. Recently, Blockchain emerged as a decentralized, highly trusted and tamper-proof technology. In this paper, we proposed a blockchain-based scheme for secure User authentication access to Fog enabled IoT devices. The proposed scheme utilizes the Ethereum Smart Contract. We developed our smart contract using Solidity language with Remix-IDE and tested its functionalities on two test networks Test RPC (Ganache) and Rinkeby Test Network. We also analyzed security vulnerabilities of our smart contract on the ChainSecurity analyzing tool.","PeriodicalId":171125,"journal":{"name":"2020 Indo – Taiwan 2nd International Conference on Computing, Analytics and Networks (Indo-Taiwan ICAN)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130805186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In recent years, smart wearable technology is rapidly becoming part of everyday life, including watches, glasses and many other wearable items have been enriched with technology. In this study, we propose a smart glasses application system for visually impaired people based on deep learning. The system can use voice response to visually impaired people about the objects in front of them by uploading the photos to our backend object detection system through the camera function of smart glasses, and then download the text descriptions of the result and then use the text-to-speech function. According to the experimental results, the proposed system takes 3.788 seconds from uploading photos to making voice results, and the success rate of object detection is 96.3%. The neurogenetic model was developed using a novel algorithm, which was utilized for training neural network rather than traditional learning methods like error back-propagation method. Also, six conventional empirical models, viz., Oswin, Smith, Halsey, Caurie, modified Mizrahi and Guggenheim-Anderson-de Boer (GAB) models were considered from elsewhere (that were fitted to the same data as used in this study) for comparison of the neurogenetic models' prediction potential. Accordingly, neurogenetic and GAB (best among the conventional models studied) models predicted sorption isotherms with accuracy, in terms of root mean squared percent error, ranging as 0.18-0.26 and 1.93-5.78 for adsorption; and 0.17-0.39 and 1.40-5.01 for desorption, respectively. Evidently, neurogenetic models outperformed conventional empirical sorption models. Hence, it is deduced that hybrid CNGM approach is potentially intelligent precision modeling tool for predicting adsorption and desorption isotherms in dried acid casein powder.","PeriodicalId":171125,"journal":{"name":"2020 Indo – Taiwan 2nd International Conference on Computing, Analytics and Networks (Indo-Taiwan ICAN)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133022135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
