Memory loss and confusion being the main symptoms, physicians and scientists are yet to find a concrete cure for the same. However, different strategies and medications have been found to be helpful, especially if early detection is possible. The report shows the results and analysis of detecting Alzheimer’s using machine learning models and compared them. The OASIS dataset has been applied to different machine learning models like SVM, Logistic Regression, K-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and Ensemble Learning. It has been run through these models before and after fine tuning. The best accuracy was found with Support Vector Machines after fine tuning. Another observation is that the inclusion of feature of CDR’ i.e., Clinical Dementia Rating showed a spike in the evaluation metrics with the best accuracy being 97% achieved by Support Vector Model.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115749599","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed methodology perceives the shoulder bones, forearm, humerus, elbow, hand, finger, leg, wrist,and knee. For this study, the Xception pre-trained model is used. The single-view and multi-view techniques are the two techniques used during the testing phase. The improved images send to first stage, which classifies them into the one of nine categories: shoulder, humerus, forearm, elbow, wrist, hand, finger, leg,and knee. Following categorization, the bones are input to second stage, that determines whether bones are normal or pathological. The MURA dataset is used for the experiments. Furthermore, the SVM layer or the classifier replaces the final layer of the used model. The results show that the SVM layer is superior. The study suggests the detection of normal and abnormal bone xrays. Determining whether the bone is normal or abnormal. If abnormal, include symptoms, diagnosis, and home remedies.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":" 31","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120834040","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The maximum power point (MPP) changes in response to changes in sun irradiation and temperature, which also affects the duty cycle needed to run the converter. The system is less effective when a constant duty cycle is utilized since maximum power point is not tracked. The Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) helps to harvest power more effectively from solar panel. This paper uses sliding mode control (SMC) for getting a better performance of the solar panels. There are various sliding surfaces in sliding mode control, this paper gives a comparison of two sliding surfaces. Both the sliding surface are simulated and analyzed for different input conditions such as irradiation, temperature, and load condition on MATLAB/SIMULINK platform.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115943148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The mathematical process of mixing two signals to create a third signal is called convolution. Utilizing a Vedic multiplier, Urdhava Triyagbhyam Sutra or UT sutra, based on one of the sixteen Vedic mathematics sutras, linear and circular convolution processing is accelerated. The Urdhava Triyagbhyam multiplier compared to other traditional multipliers offers faster results. Multiplier having pipelining architecture is also used to compute the convolution (circular and linear) of two sequences because it speeds up the multiplication process. Xilinx ISE Design suite 14.7 software is used to carry out the simulation and synthesis using VHDL. The area and delay for 4 bit and 8 bit circular and linear convolution is computed.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114918658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both quantitative and qualitative measures are studied in detail. The process of inpainting can be compared to blind convolution problem. Therefore, a quality assessment metric with no reference is discussed for assessing the inpainted image quality quantitatively. The objective assessment of inpainted image is done by Degree of Noticeability and Average Squared Visual Salience score. It is observed that the objective score does not always match with the human perception and hence subjective analysis is proposed on the basis of observer score.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"129 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125724740","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is one of the Distributed FACTS device which injects voltage in series with the line at 90° angle to line current which is similar to SSSC. It emulates inductive and capacitive reactance and changes effective line reactance for active power flow control in the line. In this paper DSSC is presented. A particle swarm optimization (PSO) method is used to obtain the best location of DSSC placement as well it is applied to find number of DSSC’s to achieve active power flow control in optimum way. For identifying the Tumor in the brain, a segmentation process is used which involves using image processing algorithms on MRI scans. While many approaches have been used for brain tumor segmentation, the manual segmentation process is tedious and has inherent problems associated with it. This paper proposes an implementation of3-D slicer segmentation of the brain tumor model along with STL model optimization using Autodesk Netfabb. This will provide an effective way of reducing the STL errors in the segmented 3-D models. These optimized models can then be 3-D printed which will provide accurate information on tumor shape and size to the medical professionals. The process of STL model optimization shows very promising results on the MRI dataset used in this case study and it achieves the creation of error-free STL models for 3-D printing. Additionally, this work demonstrates the effective use of the 3-D slicer along with Autodesk NetFabb, to considerably reduce the STL errors which were generated in the conventional process of manual segmentation. The manual segmentation process was tedious and required force smoothening of 3-D slicer models obtained after segmentation leading to faulty 3-D model printing.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131836311","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
