This investigation seeks to assess parametrically the independent effects of the cup rim radius on edge-loading by means of dislocation torque and contact stress. This article recommends 2 mm as the preferred lip radius for the acetabular liner rim with favorable mechanical performance during impingement/subluxation.","PeriodicalId":170587,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st IEEE International Conference on Knowledge Innovation and Invention (ICKII)","volume":"102 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115748087","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, based on zero moment point and kinematics theory, this paper will analyze and calculates the pose of biped robot in D-H coordinate system. Secondly, this paper will use Arduino UNO as main control board, li-ion battery and servo motor. Through the communication between the Arduino UNO and the servo motor driver board, the control signals of the servo motor are transmitted so that the robot can perform such actions as lifting the leg, stepping forward, and moving the left and right hip joints. Finally, we will feedback the position of the center of gravity of the biped robot through the three-dimensional angle sensor. Meanwhile, we will utilize the fuzzy control theory to make the biped robot walk on different road surfaces. The experimental results will prove that our method is feasible.","PeriodicalId":170587,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st IEEE International Conference on Knowledge Innovation and Invention (ICKII)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114893641","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

NeSS uses a number of devoted bees committed to a nest-site, called quorum mechanism, as a stopping criterion of the algorithm instead of the maximum cycle number (MCN). It is generally reached before the MCN that is used in typical swarm intelligence algorithms. Therefore, this mechanism helps the algorithm to converge more quickly. However, there are a number of time-sensitive optimization applications that need solutions within a specific time frame. This paper thus proposes a parallel framework of the NeSS algorithm to improve the performance and efficiency of the algorithm. In the original NeSS algorithm, explorer bees, committed bees, observers, and resting bees are four types of bees that work as a separate and independent entity. The task of each bee in the original NeSS algorithm is sequential executed. In this work, the bees in the same group perform their task simultaneously. A parallel NeSS program is developed using the C language and the OpenMP library. We use the Traveling Salesman Problems (TSP), which is a classic combinatorial problem, to evaluate the scalability performance of the proposed parallel framework by varying number of processors and number of cities in the TSP.","PeriodicalId":170587,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st IEEE International Conference on Knowledge Innovation and Invention (ICKII)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121759097","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

MapR is one of the popular Hadoop Platforms, which can provide users an efficient computing paradigm with the ability to access, store, process and manage a large amount of data. The widespread usage of MapR Hadoop Platform could create the environment that is potentially conducive to malicious activities and illegal operations. The forensic investigation of MapR Hadoop Platform is the emerging field for forensic community. The retrieval of residual artifacts from MapR Hadoop Platform is a challenge in forensic investigation, due to its complex infrastructure and, lack of location knowledge about artifacts. This paper discovers the residual artifacts on MapR Hadoop Platform to trace a variety of user’s operations on the MapR Hadoop Platform. The discovered residual artifacts can assist the forensics examiners and practitioners for MapR Hadoop Platform forensics.","PeriodicalId":170587,"journal":{"name":"2018 1st IEEE International Conference on Knowledge Innovation and Invention (ICKII)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124640246","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
