This paper aims to explore the main factors influencing users' intention to adopt EHIA in Jordan, where little research focused on such systems. Using a quantitative approach, a sample of 315 citizens was utilized, and an instrument of 30 items was used. Findings revealed that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, information technology background, and social influence are major predictors of citizens' intention to use EHIA. In contrast, perceived security and perceived trust are not significant toward the adoption process. Jordanian government should focus on the ease and usefulness of the system to encourage citizens to use EHIA system, where substantial efforts need to be exerted to advance citizens' skills in using e-government applications. In addition, Jordanian authorities should utilize social media effectively to illustrate the significance of EHIA system for citizens.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Electron. Gov. It is very useful to study the features contained in it. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of service quality, customer learning, corporate image, satisfaction, trustworthiness, customer loyalty, customer commitment, and customer savings interests and decisions of four government banks in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The study used quantitative approach. Data were obtained through questionnaires and were quantitatively analyzed to test the research hypotheses. This study used a sample of 200 respondents from 4 banks or averagely 50 respondents per bank. The approach used in this study is structural equation modeling. The results showed that in order to provide satisfaction to customers, banks must improve education for customers in addition to improving services. In addition, customer commitment will increase if customer learning also increases, and to influence customer interest and decisions on saving, bank must promote growth by explaining the benefits of saving to the public.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. However, acceptance of this technology to citizens is still very low particularly in rural areas. Therefore, this study extended TAM model using awareness and income variables to examine direct and moderating effects. Stratified sampling, multi-stage, proportionate, and simple random samplings were then applied to draw 793 valid and complete responses. Structural equation modelling was further applied to examine the hypothesized relationships. Findings show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and awareness have positive and significant direct effects on intention to use m-government services. Furthermore, findings show that income and awareness tend to moderate the relationship between perceived usefulness and behaviour intention as well as the relationship between awareness and behaviour intention. The study has provided contributions to academia and policymakers on how to increase the acceptance of m-government services in Tanzania rural areas.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. The data was analyzed with Smart PLS-SEM. The results show that the intention to use e-government website is positively related to the intention of citizens to recommend the adoption of e-government services. Trust in government and the internet were significant predictors of the intention to use e-government services. While information quality was significant in determining the intention to use, it was however not significant in predicting the citizen's trust in government. Also, information accessibility and accountability were both significant predictors of trust in government but not the intention to use. Additionally, collaboration was found to predict the intention to use but not trust in government. Finally, empowerment was a significant determinant of the intention to use and trust in government.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Electron. Gov. Recurrent annotations in the literature have explored that for successful Green IS adoption certain keys factors are required to be considered and followed in various organizations. This paper reviews, analyzes, and corroborates 11 key factors empirically that are accountable for successful adoption of Green IS and performance improvement achievement of banking segments with special reference to the banks positioned at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Eleven key factors are identified via in-depth literature review and examined using UTAUT2 and T-O-E models. Analysis of Moment Structure 21.0-Structural Equation Modeling tool is used in the study for data analysis and corroboration. The study will enrich the literature review in this field; also, it will be helpful to the decision makers and practitioners in different segments for successful adoption of Green IS in organizations.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. The results of principal component analysis (PCA) show that four major factors influenced the high Mpay adoption in China: government support and sponsorship, simple to use technology infrastructure QR Code rather than the NFC technology, ease of use convenience and safety of the Mpay apps, and savings incentives because of the lack of any associated fees with Mpay transactions both for the consumer and small businesses. Favorable government regulatory framework or lack thereof being the major enabler of the primarily wide Mpay adoption in China, in addition to the direct Chinese government sponsorship of Mpay use as the most important antecedent factors influencing the adoption of Mpay in China, where a government sponsorship and sanctioning for economic development and financial services inclusion purposes led to the burgeoning of this FinTech innovation in China.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. Serious gaming is a type of game that has often been advocated as a means for changing the attitude of its players and can be used for changing the attitude of civil servants. However, the relationship between games and attitude change in civil servants remains unexplored. This paper aims at identifying factors leading to attitude change of civil servants. As hardly any paper is focused on civil servants' attitude change through games, the authors broaden their research to attitude change through games in general. Out of 483 documents, 19 reference papers were analyzed in detail. Eighty-one games were found, and more than 13 different theories were identified containing 30 different influencing factors, which were found mostly to be unrelated and context-dependent. The conceptual dispersion between studies indicates that the resulting overview of factors is a first step towards creating a uniform theory. The results can help governments to design better games.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Electron. Gov. As strategy scholars observe, it is inimical to democratic systems whose election results are questioned by reason of faulty electoral processes. The Marxian alienation theory and Marilyn's ex-post facto research designs were used for evaluating the consequences of adopting political disinformation strategies (PDS) as tools for manipulation, via innovative artificial intelligent technologies, on established social media networks during recent democratic elections in the US and other rising hegemonies. The study observed that most governments and expert political campaigners continue to find it a politically viable platform suitable for swinging the votes of electorates in desired directions. Authors recommended stiffer regulations for media platforms and party agents as this would aid discontinuing the practice of PDS during elections in established and rising hegemonies.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. In this research, the authors analyze the relationship between the evolution governments' effort to develop citizen e-participation in public policy—measured through the UN's e-participation index—and that of national contexts variables identified by the digital divide theory at country level, using panel data for 178 countries over the period 2008-2016. The results confirm the strong and positive connection between EPI and economic development and technological infrastructure of the countries, ageing population associated to higher life standards, as well as a negative impact of rurality, gender, and political freedom and democracy result not influential, as well as education. Some practical implications derive from the findings, contributing to explain performance differences across different national settings and identifying current inequalities that still require public action to bridge the divide.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. It used a descriptive and exploratory research design based on the quantitative approach. The sample comprised of 383 UDC users who were randomly selected. The data was gathered using questionnaire and analyzed through SPSS (statistical package for social sciences). The statistical findings showed that the overall perception of UDC users on the e-governance initiative found positive. Also, the results of the regression analysis show that the digital divide and good governance has a substantial impact on the overall perception of the user. It is, therefore, suggested that efforts should be instigated for improved awareness and training which helps ensure effective service delivery.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. J.
