Due to the several techniques that exist to perform it, it is necessary to understand the complexity of this activity for it to be well performed, thus ensuring the quality of the final product. In addition, it is also worth emphasizing that the existence of well-defined processes is essential for the stakeholders' needs to be correctly identified in the initial stages of the software development process. This paper presents an experience report of the requirements elicitation and business process modeling teams. The teams used the best practices and reference frameworks to understand, model, and perform business process enhancements to the Brazilian Unified Health System General Audit Office (AUDSUS) audit system by using the business process model and notation (BPMN). Thus, all software requirements were specified based on the modeled business processes, providing a faster software development process and a more efficient information flow between stakeholders and the teams involved.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. This article considers transparency from a service users' point of view and outlines a framework rooted in a systematic literature review, complemented by a selected literature analysis on the fields of eServices quality and public sector values. The framework defines the concept of ‘public eServices transparency' and characterizes the information that should be made available, according to different service user profiles. The aim is to assist practitioners from public administration to develop eServices and scholars to assess existing eServices transparency.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Electron. However, little attention has been paid to the possible impacts of new technological disruptions on politics and the electoral systems. The main goal of this paper is to design a framework for electronic voting systems using Blockchain technology. To achieve this goal, the paper outlines these three objectives: (1) to explore and identify the challenges in existing voting systems, (2) to identify the methods that could enhance the security and privacy of the electoral voting systems using Blockchain technology, and (3) to design a framework for electronic voting systems that use Blockchain technology in order to address the flaws in current voting systems. A mixed approach is applied in this study to explore the opportunities and challenges of the Blockchain voting system, and design the framework accordingly.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. Increasingly, patients and doctors are using modern technological infrastructure to deliver care services. This study focuses on the intrinsic factors that lead to provider adoption of mHealth. The study uses PLS-SEM and neural networks to build on UTAUT theory. Study collects data from 316 care providers practicing in government and private health canters, hospitals and clinic found that intrinsic factors like self-efficacy, personal innovativeness, and performance expectancy positively related to mHealth adoption by physicians, whereas technology anxiety negatively related to adoption behaviour. Effort expectancy is not significant, indicating that m-Health adoption is driven by usefulness and result rather than convenience. If the expertise is not easily available, the physician's best interest for the patient may often drive them to adopt m-Health.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Electron. Gov. The study deploys expert interview technique and the data collected from various sources are analyzed using qualitative analysis. It was found that AI implementation needs a critical examination of various socio-technological factors to avoid any undesirable impacts on citizens. Fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics (FATE) play an important role during the design and execution of AI-based systems. This study provides vital insights into AI implications to smart city managers, citizen groups, and policymakers while delivering promised smart city experience. The study has social implications in terms of ensuring that proper guidelines are developed for using AI technology for citizen services, thereby bridging the ever-critical trust gap between citizens and city administration.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. In the models, digitalization is captured by six measures. Our results illustrate that using the internet and online activities reduce life expectancy, whereas business digitization, e-commerce, digital public services, and higher digital skills in the population can improve the life expectancy of men and women, leading to a reduction in the gender gap. Furthermore, we detect that men are significantly more affected by the implementation of digital transformation, while online administrative procedures also lead to a rise in life expectancy but only in women. These effects only exist in the long term. We also find that digital connectivity, business digitization, e-commerce, and digital skills help people survive longer during the Covid-19 pandemic.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. From the census, we chose those farms considered most representative taking into account the following criteria: the level of CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) and the production of milk (litres / cow and year). The results show that, in spite of the fact that a vast majority of the users use the web tools of the Public Administration, there are many users who find problems related to the agility and ease of use of these tools, especially when compared with private APPs which they also use daily in connection to their farms. Our research delves into those farmers who do not use the internet and the alternative methods which they employ. The telephone helpline is particularly important, as it is the favourite method of smaller farms.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Electron. Gov. Countries, governments, and health workers are striving to contain this virus by applying different strategies and protocols. This research investigates and identifies the significant determinants that influence the acceptance and Adoption of non-hazardous medical waste recycling behaviour in Kuwait. This article questions whether healthcare workers in Kuwait are actually behaving differently regarding non-hazardous medical waste recycling during the pandemic as opposed to previously. The study uses a deductive research approach involving a quantitative methodology by applying the theory of planned behaviour as a framework. From an overall perspective, individuals have positive intentions and behaviours toward recycling. However, COVID-19 and the fear of spreading the virus had a positive impact on the healthcare workers' recycling behaviour in public hospitals in Kuwait.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. Therefore, this study is aimed at filling this gap by integrating eWOM communications into the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to explore its direct impact on the adoption of mobile government services among Chinese citizens (college students). The analysis was conducted by the use of SPSS through regression analysis. The results showed that all the research hypotheses were statistically supported. Specifically, eWOM mobile government communication was found to significantly predict the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and the behavioral intention to adopt mobile government services. The implications of these findings on the development of mobile government services are thoroughly discussed.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Electron. Gov. UPI has proved to be a boon in the pandemic situation by facilitating contactless and remote transactions. Thus it is crucial to study user acceptance of payments using UPI and factors influencing its usage. The present paper extended UTAUT3 (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) with an additional construct called 'trust'. Studies on behavioral intention are not rare. But behavioral intention towards UPI usage is not yet explored. What makes this study unique is its attempt to use both SEM and Neural Network to analyze data. It will guide future researchers to pursue technology adoption studies using this multi-method technique. The novelty also resides in the fact that trust, the newly added construct, has proved to be the most important antecedent of behavioral intention towards UPI usage.","PeriodicalId":170341,"journal":{"name":"Int.
