Latent class analysis is an approach that allows large quantities of data to be processed automatically, avoiding the myths of Likert scale. The results indicate that Taiwanese people can be clustered into three groups based on their opinions about e-health or m-health. Besides, they thought new information technology was at high risk. They did not like getting medical services via information technology. In this class, females were more than males. The mean age of this class was higher than the other classes.","PeriodicalId":170124,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Applied System Innovation (ICASI)","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117277398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, today's markets experience intense activity in the highly dynamic environment where trading systems respond to others at a pace much faster than it would take for a human trader to make a decision. This new breed of technology involves the implementation of high-speed trading strategies that have generated significant portion of activity in the financial markets and thus presenteds researchers with a wealth of information not available in traditional low-frequency datasets. In this study, we aim at developing feasible computational intelligence methodologies, particularly genetic algorithms (GA), to shed light on high-speed trading research using the market microstructure price data. Our results show that the proposed GA-based model is able to improve the accuracy of the prediction for price movement on the microscopic level, and we expect this GA-based method to advance the current state of research for high-speed trading.","PeriodicalId":170124,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Applied System Innovation (ICASI)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126748128","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The design objective of this aero-shaped valve (ASV) aims at lowering the valve-induced blood damage and minimizing the impact momentum between occluder and valve strut. Unlike the past valve designs which relied on trial-and-error process, the present design uses analytic methods and stresses the transvalvular flowfield quality. Not only occluder configuration is examined in detail, but the influence of pivot location is accounted for. Based on the theory of wing sections and the analogy of flight stability, a concurrent occluder shape and rotation center optimization is accomplished. This optimization procedure, which integrates Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Artificial Neural Network (ANN), and Genetic Algorithm (GA), is developed to search for a low-thrombogenic occluder shape and a permissible rotating center position. Comparing the optimized ASV to the conventional plate-like occluders, ASV encompasses better hemodynamic characteristics in terms of lower transvalvular pressure gradient and turbulence Reynolds stresses.","PeriodicalId":170124,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Applied System Innovation (ICASI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122655575","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the OpenStreetMap (OSM) project has created a set of world map data that is free to use, editable, and licensed under new copyright schemes. Albeit, the OSM is partial to the solid foundations of modern society; to date, such open innovations have not been widely discussed. Therefore, this paper introduces the service quality (SERVQUAL) theoretic framework as the basis for developing a decision-making framework to uncover factors influencing the adoption of OSMs. The hybrid multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) methods used to find the key influencing factors of the OSM adoptions as well as influential relationships can be used to define marketing strategies for promoting OSM.","PeriodicalId":170124,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Applied System Innovation (ICASI)","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116810262","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study manipulate different clues (overlapping and perspective), reference material (with and without), and size of the vehicle (motorcycles, vehicles and trucks). Subject is required to judge the difference in the distance of the objects of the picture. This is in order to analyze the spatial depth perception difference between two groups. Twenty-four PD patients and twenty-four control participants were recruited to participate in this study. The results showed that perspective accuracy of Parkinson's disease patient was significantly weaker than the normal group, but no significant difference in the accuracy of overlapping reaction. This study also found an interesting result, where in a situation with difference in vehicle size frontal and rear, for example, an vehicle in the front and a motorcycle in the rear, the judgment was worsened by such scenario, which was true for both the Parkinson's patient and the normal control group, but with the former bearing higher degree of severity. In daily life, different size vehicles are mixed on public road, it is not possible to have just a single vehicle on the road. Hence, the Parkinson's patient should pay more attention to the approaching vehicle.","PeriodicalId":170124,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Applied System Innovation (ICASI)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130310045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fuzzy control strategy is utilized for the energy management among three power sources. A low-order scooter dynamics is constructed including subsystems such as the spark-ignition engine, high-power traction motor, integrated starter-generator (ISG), high-power battery module, transmission, longitudinal vehicle dynamics, etc. For energy management of three power sources, the 73-rule fuzzy control is designed and compared to the traditional rule-based control. Three inputs are the battery state-of-charge (SOC), required torque and engine speed. Three outputs are torque commands for the engine, the motor, and the ISG. The system model and the energy management system are integrated for off-line simulation then. The verified models of control strategy and the vehicle dynamics are downloaded to two real-time simulators for the close-loop control with A/D D/A interface. Simulation results show that the vehicle model details the dynamics of key components, while the energy consumptions of these two control modes are nearly 170kJ under ECE40 driving cycle. This HIL platform can be used for rapid prototyping for vehicle control unit (VCU) designs of HES. The general vehicle model can be extended to various power-level hybrid vehicles with three power sources.","PeriodicalId":170124,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Applied System Innovation (ICASI)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123659578","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
