Thirty prostate cancer patients who were treated with VMAT and replanned with IMRT using Eclipse planning system were studied. The percentage dose differences (%DDs) were calculated using 3DVH software for planning target volume (PTV) and risk organ (OARs). The correlations between %DD and the gamma pass rate (GPR) (3%/3mm, 2%/2mm and 1%/1mm) criterion were examined. Both the DVHs calculated by 3DVH and the one projected by TPS were compared using the different parameters for PTV and OAR. In VMAT technique, the %DD was less than 3% for PTV and 4% for OAR while the IMRT technique recorded %DD less than 2% for PTV and 4% for OAR. 3DVH was somewhat more consistent with the planned VMAT verification data compared to ArcCHECK, with a mean gamma pass rate of 99.34% for the 3%/3 mm criterion Based on our results, VMAT is especially beneficial for prostate most cancers treatment.","PeriodicalId":16981,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Scientific Research in Science","volume":"64 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76154046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fifteen quantitative morphological traits were used, the measured data were evaluated statistically using ANOVA, phylogenetic tree were constructed using UPGMA. Also Inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) molecular marker technique were used for DNA fingerprinting and assessing genetic diversity and phylogenetic relationships in barley germplasm. The results showed that ISSR primers produced 140 bands their size ranged between 110-1600 bp with 39.8% polymorphism percentage. Polymorphic information content PIC was 0.74 for ISSR. UPGMA dendrogram was divided into two clusters by morphological traits and ISSR analysis. Genetic similarity matrix was examined with Jacard’s coefficient, maximum similarity was found between B8 and B7 (98%) with morphological analysis both from (North Sinai) and between B9 and B10 (96%) with ISSR analysis. Determination of genetic diversity between barley is of major importance for characterization of barley germplasm, breeding programs and conservation purposes. Morphological traits and ISSR analysis are effective tools for detecting genetic variations. The results showed that H. vulgare have high ratio of variation. This study may be considered as reference study for further studies on H. vulgare and may contribute to species concept and breeding programs.","PeriodicalId":16981,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Scientific Research in Science","volume":"222 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81815954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this study is to create a complete barcoding reference database of some fishes in the Mediterranean Sea fall under the family Sparidae. . Materials and methods: Mitochondrial COI barcode sequences were demonstrated from 8 species of family Sparidae in the order Perciformes, the mean length of Mitochondrial COI sequences was 650 base pairs. Results: The results of the phylogenetic tree presented that monophyly of Sparidae species. The studied species displayed clades of conspecific sequences and showed a match between the present study and the GenBank (NCBI) database. All groups clustered with high bootstrap value, that showed next to each branch and the tree was rooted based on the out group of Rhincodon typus. Conclusion: We achieve that COI sequencing can be used to recognize different fish species, and also it is used to obtain high competence of species reorganization by DNA barcoding. We underline the power of DNA barcode and its tools to identify different species from Mediterranean Sea. Results give Species ID for each species under study by using DNA barcoding.","PeriodicalId":16981,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Scientific Research in Science","volume":"87 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83808414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three probiotics bacterial strains: Lactobacillus casei ss. casei (LC 1093), Lactobacillus delbreuckii ss. bulgaricus LD (1102) and Bifidobacterium bifidum (BB 1334) were tested for their anti-proliferative capabilities on cell lines via trypan blue test and MTT assay. Their anti-methylation activities were tested using methylation-specific PCR (MSP). Results revealed that Lactobacillus casei strain achieved the highest percentage of cancer cell death. The effects of these strains on the methylation status of RASSF1A and RB1 promotor regions in breast cancer cells were tested. The unmethylation-specific primers of both genes were able to generate a defined band. The methylation patterns were reshaped when compared to the untreated MCF7 cell line showing the epigenetic delaying mechanism of the probiotic cell free filtrate by interfering the methylation mechanism of breast cancer on two tested genes. The utilization of nanoparticles as a delivery system for antimicrobial drugs has arisen recently which solve many problems and enhance the traditional treatment with this antimicrobial drugs. In this study, nanoparticles of bovine serum albumen were successfully obtained using a coacervation process (separation of proteins in two liquid phases in colloidal systems). The prepared nanoparticles were nearly spherical in shape and have smooth surface as determined by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). The sizes of the obtained nanoparticles were 70 ± 10 nm with negative surface zeta potential. Additionally, the in vitro safety of albumin nanoparticles has been demonstrated. Both cytotoxicity and genotoxicity studies indicated that, there is no observed toxic effect of nano-albumin on lymphocyte cell line. Also, the results showed that the albumin nanoparticles enhances and promotes the response of immune system.","PeriodicalId":16981,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Scientific Research in Science","volume":"39 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78685584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
