The project aimed to overcome challenges perceived in the traditional teaching of Geometry, seeking to integrate concepts in a contextualized and motivating way. The theoretical framework highlights the importance of innovative approaches, the contextualization of Geometry throughout history and the use of technological resources to enhance learning. The methodology adopted is predominantly qualitative, involving action and participatory research. The project was carried out at the São Jose Municipal School, located in a floodplain area in the municipality of Santarém, west of Pará. GeoGebra was introduced as a practical tool for exploring geometric entities, solids and figures, providing a visual and interactive approach. Analysis of the results reveals a significant improvement in the students' understanding and attitude towards geometry after the GeoGebra intervention. However, important considerations are pointed out, such as the need for adequate technological infrastructure and ongoing teacher training to maximize the impact of these initiatives. The study highlights the effectiveness of GeoGebra as a pedagogical tool for overcoming perceived challenges and promoting a more positive and contextualized view of the subject.","PeriodicalId":168283,"journal":{"name":"Cuadernos de Educación y Desarrollo","volume":"23 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139962372","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The issue of the environment and sustainability still needs to be more widespread in Brazilian society, despite being debated by academics and opinion formers. However, there has been a consensus among developed countries on the need to adopt sustainable economic practices and create laws promoting environmental protection. In Brazil, the state has played a leading role in this process by creating specific legislation, and companies have basically responded to this stimulus. The aim of this work is to assess the impact of the environmental sustainability paradigm and its legal and governance effect on Brazilian companies, seeking to identify some quantitative impact indicators that can serve as reference points for the influence on the chemical engineer job market.","PeriodicalId":168283,"journal":{"name":"Cuadernos de Educación y Desarrollo","volume":"28 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139962768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main objective was to explore the applicability of this leadership approach, identifying conditions under which it proves effective or faces practical challenges. The theme encompasses an in-depth review of the theoretical framework, focusing on the dimensions of transformational leadership, its contextual application, and the resulting impact. The adopted methodology is based on a thorough bibliographic research, utilizing key works by renowned authors such as Bass (1985), Burns (1978), Avolio (2004), and others, more recent, that align with the ideals of earlier authors. The theoretical analysis aimed to comprehend the nuances of transformational leadership, considering factors like variability in followers' expectations and adaptability in different organizational environments. The results present perspectives derived from critical synthesis, highlighting not only the positive contributions of transformational leadership but also its limitations. The contextualized analysis underscored the importance of adaptability in this leadership style given the diversity of profiles within teams. The conclusion emphasized the need for a strategic and adaptive approach in applying transformational leadership, recognizing its potential positive impact while considering practical challenges that may arise in specific organizational scenarios. This research, therefore, contributed to the development of more contextualized and adaptable approaches, providing practical guidance for leaders and managers in the contemporary landscape.","PeriodicalId":168283,"journal":{"name":"Cuadernos de Educación y Desarrollo","volume":"56 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139775542","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, its diverse ecosystems are fragile, especially its different soil types. Because of the constant and accelerated urbanization of its spaces, several negative externalities occur, such as the silting of miniature river courses, known as streams. In this sense, this study aimed to present a proposal to treat and act to contain the degradation of Igarapé da Vovó and recover the areas surrounding it. To this end, it proposes a corrective intervention using low-impact technology (LID) due to the absence of a water energy dissipation device in the drain outlets. The proposal aims to obtain the results that the area adapts to the techniques used significantly, reducing runoff, eliminating erosion, increasing the volume of the basin, and reducing silting. The purpose is that this action can ensure that the spring increases its water capacity, becoming a successful reference for sustainable intervention in solving siltation and slope erosion in a fragment of Amazonian urban forest.","PeriodicalId":168283,"journal":{"name":"Cuadernos de Educación y Desarrollo","volume":"4 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139963387","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
