The Gramian Angular Difference Field (GADF) method is applied to convert Power quality signals to two dimensional image and then, convolutional neural network (CNN) is applied to learn high level features for classification purpose. The mixed and single synthetic power quality (PQ) disturbances are taken into account for classification purpose. A unit is constructed with two dimensional convolutional, pooling, and batch-normalization layers to extract the meaningful features of the power quality disturbances. The GADF-based convolutional neural network (GADF-CNN) for classifying PQ disturbance signals is validated subsequently. As a result of using the triangle character function for component extraction, the suggested control reduces the overall computing load. This demonstrates the efficacy of the proposed ACDT under a range of operating situations. Control algorithm design also provides desired voltage regulation, decreasing peak overshoot during transient conditions. This will also aid in the rapid and precise regulation of grid current concerning the reference current. Further, the fractional-order controller is adopted for DC-link voltage stabilization during transient dynamics of the system. The suggested control algorithm successfully maintains a constant power flow to meet the load requirement. Finally, simulation experiments were conducted in the Matlab Simulink in order to validate the proposed controller ability. For a portfolio of a large number of loads, economic scheduling is a challenge due to individual load constraints and large problem dimensions. From this viewpoint, this paper provides an optimal day-ahead scheduling framework considering aggregated flexibility of a large number of residential loads. In the first step, cluster-based aggregation is performed to employ the flexible potential of shiftable load types which fully utilizes the detailed technical attributes of load data. In the second step, the aggregated attributes are utilized to optimally schedule the flexible load clusters subjected to the network constraints. A case study with 1000 shiftable loads is used to evaluate this strategy with and without clustering. It provides effective management of massive flexible loads to minimize the complexity of energy management and improve the overall economics with high computational efficacy. The inclusion of applicable system non linearities and intermittency in renewable sources in addition to EVs leads the power system to complexity, though more realistic. A healthy controlling scheme is the immediate requirement for a present power system. In this respect, a robust disturbance-rejection based proportional-integral (DR-PI) controller is explored for dynamic control of HPS. The proposed DR-PI controller’s domination is recognized by comparing it with other already proposed secondary controllers in literature. Eigen-value analysis is used to validate the stability of the developed HPS. This work proposed a multilevel inverter circuit which is operating in symmetric manner. In terms of switch counts and the total harmonic distortion (THD) in the output waveform, this proposed configuration is found better as compared with the available cascaded configurations. For generating switching signals, modified sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) scheme on the basis of balanced voltage (VBB-PWM) is adopted. The need of the hour is to create energy systems that can fulfill energy needs without compromising on sustainability. Anaerobic digestion can be utilized for breaking down organic wastes. This process would result in bio-methane which can be used as a fuel. This would be a cleaner and more nature-friendly option than fossil fuels. In this paper, an animal waste-driven biogas power plant has been designed to evaluate its true potential as a renewable energy alternative. The anaerobic digestion process has been analyzed for two input feedstocks: cow dung and swine. Relay coordination is a challenging task, as it isolates the faulty parts with the minimum operation of relay and circuit breakers. This paper presents an inverse time-current curve (ITCC) based efficient coordination scheme for radial multi-bus grid-connected DC MGs. The proposed scheme rapidly isolates the faulty parts and restores the non-faulty parts to maintain the reliability of the system. This scheme does not need a communication network between solid-state circuit breakers (SSCBs) and power electronics converters. This reduces the implementation complexity and the cost of the proposed scheme. A Microgrid gaining hedge importance and is considered as a reliable solution for the expected deficiency in the power requirement. Microgrids generally consist of renewable power sources such as wind, solar and hydro. Those RES are a high potential source of power for future micro-grid systems but have low efficiency. However, the major drawback of Renewable energy sources (RESs) is the intermittent issue because of the rapid fluctuations in generation and most of the RES are highly nonlinear in nature. The main objective of this paper is to maintain the constant DC bus voltage irrespective of generation with appropriate control of the hybrid energy storage system (HESS). In this paper, A islanded DC microgrid having a primary source as PV integrated with a HESS is modelled. The hybrid energy storage system gives backup power support when the PV is unable to meet the demand with the help of a DC-DC bidirectional converter and maintained a constant DC bus voltage. A control strategy is proposed with cascaded PI. The power producers use the outputs of the scheduling problem to make a decision of production offers for generating units in the electric market. For a given market price, these offering strategies produce the electric energy according to the system inter connection. In the same way, consumer and load bids decide the amount of production and consumption in the market. In this paper it is revealed with the bidding prices of generators and loads the final settlement of dispatch of generators and consumption of loads, is calculated through locational marginal prices (LMP) at the busses. Unfortunately, due to a lack of standard safety methods, IoT privacy concerns and security flaws have ascended. The current model of the IoT relies on a centralized cloud server, resulting in single-point failures. The blockchain method was introduced as a decentralized method to ensure security standards and linked to IoT owing to its decentralization and information disclosure. In the present study, initially, the basic structure of blockchain is explained following the integration of IoT with blockchain. The review of the wide-ranging hierarchy of blockchain-IoT applications across multiple segments defined as a systematic and operational content analysis of the scholarly papers is done.
