With the establishment of the Arfak Mountains District as a new autonomous region, all forms of economic levels have been separated from the former regency. Arfak Mountains Regency as an autonomous region is expected to have the ability to manage regional own revenue to finance the administration of the regional government. In achieving the capability in regional financial independence, it is necessary to optimize the sources of regional revenue. The results of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) on the assessment of several alternative policies related to the optimization of sources of regional own revenue in the Arfak Mountains District, are as followed: (1). Increasing revenue capacity through better planning; (2). expanding revenue bases; (3). improving administrative efficiency and reducing collection costs; (4). strengthening collection processes and (5). improving controlling processes. The population in this study are all working in SKPD Manokwari. The sample in this study is the head of department and the staff/employees of the financial part. Our sample are 45 respondents. The samples were selected by using a probability sampling method. Data was collected by distributing questionnaire to the respondents directly concerned. The results show that all independent variables of Internal Control System has a significant effect on the quality of local government financial statements. Research data is obtained by giving questionnaires and interviews to 34 MSMEs owners of industrial sector in Manokwari Regency. The data was then analyzed by using a multiple linear regression analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that internal factors have no significant influence on the performance of MSMEs. The data used in this study are secondary data, namely labor force data in districts and cities in West Papua Province, recent diploma data aged 15 years and over in West Papua Province 2010-2014, GRDP data on the basis of the constant price of the infrastructure sector (construction, transportation and warehousing) and GRDP data on the basis of the constant price of the real estate sector. Using panel data regression analysis, the results of this study indicate that the level of education and the infrastructure sector have a positive but not significant effect on labor absorption rates. This research is motivated by the fact individual backgroundwill effect to individual behavior for their role and on political activity. Dependent variable in this research are the role members of DPRD on financial region supervision. Independent variables are personal background, political background and knowledge of council about budget. The data in this research consist of primary data that taken from questionnaires distributed directly to respondents. The collected are from 43 respondents that members of DPRD at West Papua Province. Hipothesis of this study are examine by using Multiple Linear Regression use SPSS 22 program. The result of this indicated that‟s, first, there is a positive influence of personal background toward the role members of DPRD on financial region supervision. Second, political background haven‟t effect towards the role members of DPRD on financial region supervision. Third, knowledge of council about budget affect towards the role members of DPRD on financial region supervision. The suggestions for further research, research instrument of variable education and trainning, organizational experience, experience in DPRD should be developed. The study using such variables as unemployment, economic growth, investment, and local minimum wage. The data analyzed quantitatively by conducting the statistical method of multiple linear regression. The results show that the economic growth and the minimum wages have a significant effect, otherwise the investment has not significant effect on an unemployment in North Maluku Province. This study used a survey method with direct interview techniques for respondents consisting of fishermen, collectors, retailers, wholesalers and processed fisheries traders. The results showed that, the largest income average of capture fisheries marketing institutions in Fakfak district was at large merchant institutions with a level of income of Rp. This is because large traders sell fish in very large quantities with the aim of selling outside the city of Fakfak. A very large cost is proportional to the income received by large traders. However, the lowest income is obtained by retail traders. Fishermen who have higher income from retailers and collectors are also associated with production costs that are not too large when compared to the purchase costs incurred by traders. This research is an associative study using quantitative data. Data sources include primary data and secondary data. The population in this study were all employees of PT PLN (Persero) in the Papua and West Papua Areas of the Manokwari Area. The sampling method uses simple random sampling with the number of respondents 67 employees. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that, both partially (t test) and simultaneously (F test), leadership style and organizational culture had a significant effect on employee performance. Manokwari regency has natural resource and coal potentials, that is expected to drive local economy through the utilization of its non-tax revenues. This research aims to calculate the potentials and effectivity of non-tax revenues sourced from mining activities in Manokwari regency. The findings show that non-tax revenue potential is approximately IDR 43.7 billion in 2014, and increases just over IDR 57 billion in 2015. Poverty rates in Indonesia are very various between provinces. Poverty alleviation also have strong association with the implementatation of programs and tasks derived from the government budgeding instument. This paper aims to analyse the influence of government spending on education and health on poverty rate in Papua Barat province. Sample in this research includes five regencies and one manicipality. Panel data regression was employed to estimate the fitted model. The results indicated that government spending on education has a significant influence on poverty reduction, meanwhile government spending on health has not been a significant driver for reducting the poverty rate.
