The main idea of decomposition method lies in providing measurements in near field zone, often in distance of several meters from the object. Due to narrow radiation pattern of the antenna only a fragment of the object will be lightened by the radar situated in the near zone. So, in order to estimate full RCS of the object, a series of measurements must be held. In this work the results of such measurements will be presented and compared with results of numerical testing. This work makes it possible to carry out similar studies for UWB signals in further investigations.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"296 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116363209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The values of the global maximum of the directive gain of such an antenna was found to be D<inf>m</inf>=3.3 on its length 2l=1.27λ. The directivity characteristics of a vibrator antenna placed parallel to a planar infinite screen are optimized for maximum directive gain by varying its height above the screen from 0.1 to 3.0 wavelengths. It is shown, that for a height h=0.25λ above the screen, the maximum of the directive gain in the direction normal to the planar screen reaches the value D<inf>m</inf>=10.8, and for a height h=0.75λ, it reaches the value D<inf>m</inf>=11.7.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121897068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unlike conventional moving target indicator (MTI) algorithms, our proposed algorithm can effectively remove clutter signal not only from static objects but also from multipath effects between humans and objects. It can be accomplished by changing the application ratio of clutter suppression algorithm according to the circumstance of radar coverage. It results higher peak to average power ratio (PAPR) and signal to clutter ratio (SCR), so other post-processing likes detection or positioning operates more stable. We evaluate this algorithm's performance by comparing conventional algorithm through some experimental results.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127978338","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The insert was made in the form of a stopper. The effective irradiation is registered when the VSWR at the system input equals nearly 1. This level can be achieved by means of changing the stopper location. In the math model, the outer region is supposed to be a half-space homogeneously filled with dielectric, which may be dissipative. The geometry of irradiated objects is not taken into account. The frequency region, where an effective irradiation takes place, highly depends on the slot length and on an outer dielectric permittivity. The purpose of the paper is to find the frequency at which the effective irradiation takes place.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128879089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The methods of nonlinear evolution equations (for waves) in layered structures (NEELS) and of Vainshtein equivalent nonlinear sources (VENS) form the basis for the corresponding modeling. Higher-order nonlinear equations for extremely short GHz pulses in ferrite films are reconsidered, and an important extra term describing self-steepening effect for the magnetostatic waves is found. The evolution of bullets (spatio-temporal nonlinear pulses/solitons, strongly localized in two dimensions) and collapsing pulses in ferrite and metamaterial (plasmonic) waveguides, accounting for higherorder linear and nonlinear effects, is modeled. The combined effect of linear and nonlinear diffraction and dispersion on the propagation and nonlinear instability of the bullets is found and investigated. The conditions, when the collapse of nonlinear spin-dipole waves of the millimeter wave range is possible, are found. Ultra-short baseband pulses in ferroelectrics and effect of 2D ultra compression in the linear lensing and nonlinear focusing-defocusing media are searched. It is possible to realize the propagation of baseband bright pulses and an analog of modulation instability for relatively long (10–20) ps input baseband pulses, without any carrier frequency. Due to modulation instability, it is possible to form the regular sequences of envelope pulses shorter than 5 ps at the carrier frequencies (0.4 - 0.8) THz. The baseband ultrashort pulses without a carrier frequency possess the durations less than 1 ps.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121293557","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
