One possible approach to solving this problem is to use the alphabet of optical signals having approximately the same dispersion expansion at the receiving side. A problematic, both technically and theoretically, is the possibility of forming a low-frequency envelope of an optical signal of a given shape. The work is devoted to the development of the theory of approximation of signals of a given shape by pulses (counting functions) of a Gaussian form. The boundary estimates of the effective width of the spectra of signal sequences generated by weighted sums of Gaussian pulses are obtained.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"18 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129302625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The carrier frequency of the radiofrequency pulse, its duration and shape of the model are the basic data for the challenge to be solved in several stages: calculation of probing radio-frequency pulse spectrum in designated limited frequency range; calculation of RCS model at frequencies from earlier calculated radio-frequency spectrum; calculation of the scattered pulse spectrum; synthesis of scattered pulse. The technique is illustrated on an example of scattering of radio-frequency pulse in thin-wire models of cylinder- and cone-shaped radar objects.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129804361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based upon measurements of complex dielectric permittivity at a single frequency in the range of bulk water dispersion we were able to estimate hydration of lipid vesicles. It was shown that the magnitude of hydration calculated from the increment of static dielectric permittivity could be used to monitor loading of liposomes with antimicrobial peptide and to track the release of drug from nano-carriers. Redistribution of free and bound water in liposome suspensions upon binding and dissociation of small molecules with lipid membranes of nano-sized spherical particles, precisely traced by dielectric measurements at microwaves, can be used as a diagnostic tool in targeted drug delivery technologies for quality control and monitoring of cargo loading and unloading.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129816516","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An overview of the Chua's oscillator circuitry basis on MOSFET structures. The approximation equation of static current-voltage characteristic with a cubic non-linearity is presented, as well as oscillator mathematical model. The phase portraits of the Chua oscillator with cubic non-linearity, time diagrams and amplitude-frequency spectra of generated oscillations are obtained. The graphs of Lyapunov exponents are presented, depending on the coefficients change in the mathematical model of the Chua oscillator with cubic non-linearity, as well as the Poincaré map.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"235 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121117867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The rotator is composed of a pair of conjugated double periodic perforated screens separated by a short distance. Two groups of four rectangular slots are cut along a perimeter of the screen periodical cell. Polarization rotation frequencies are controlled by choosing appropriated dimensions and placements of the slots' groups. At the same time, we report that even a rotator with equal slots belonging to different (outer or internal) quadruples enables a dual-frequency operation as well.","PeriodicalId":167305,"journal":{"name":"2018 9th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115299871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
