Unlike real images, sketches exhibit a high level of abstraction as they lack the rich features that the real images contain such as various colors, backgrounds, and environmental detail. Despite all of these shortages and being drawn with just a few strokes, they are still meaningful enough to encompass an appropriate level of meaning. The efficiency of deep neural networks on sketch recognition has been relatively less studied compared to the visual recognition of real images. To experiment with the efficiency of deep neural networks on sketch recognition, a novel sketch recognition model based on Convolutional Neural Networks is proposed in this study. The proposed model consisted of 21 layers and was tuned in an automated manner to find out the best-optimized model. In order to reveal the proposed model’s efficiency in terms of predicting the classes of the given sketches, the model was evaluated on a gold standard sketch dataset, namely, Quick, Draw!. According to the experimental result, the proposed model’s accuracy was calculated as high as 89.53% which outperformed the related work on the same dataset. The key findings that were obtained during the conducted experiments were discussed to shed light on future studies.","PeriodicalId":166917,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121175664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, lack of resources, limited sources or difficulties in city life also arise. In response to these situations, the Smart City concept emerges and thanks to this concept, which integrates information and communication technology, it optimizes the available resources and makes people's life more qualified, efficient and comfortable. Smart cities include the phases of transferring, storing and processing real-time data from sensors and manage variable subsystems. While the transactions are carried out successfully for the purposes, the security and privacy problems must be examined carefully. In this paper, we analyze security issues and challenges in two ways: IoT-based and cloud-based. And as a solution proposal, it is stated that we can use authentication, encrypted communication, and blockchain to ensure data privacy. It is difficult to provide security in smart city architectures due to its decentralized and distributed structure with the existing technology IoT. Blockchain offers a security approach with a decentralized and distributed structure.","PeriodicalId":166917,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129596654","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The researchers suggested using a novel Current Transformer (CT) with a new approach for fault detections, to improve the characteristic of this relay. MATLAB Simulink tools software used to model the Rogowski Coil (RC), with the new PDP Relay characteristic. Reducing the min-operating level point and expanding the operation region by revoking the second slope in the characteristic of the relay by implementing Extended Park’s Vector Approach (EPVA) for faults detection. The paper also sheds light on removing the saturation error curve from the total error in the characteristic of PDP relay using the linear CT characteristics of Rogowski Coil. Consequently, a better sensitivity achieved specially for small differential currents in the secondary system. By this method, good indications of quitting few currents on primary terminal of power transformer were achieved. This performance of algorithm is due to the EPVA’s analyzation which depends on spectrum analysis.","PeriodicalId":166917,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124598913","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is important for harvest yield that the harvesting personnel knows the differences of this value with respect to the fruits. Especially in industrial harvesting, the use of simulations in personnel training and student education in agricultural faculties will be efficient in terms of saving time. Within the scope of this study, the hardness values of the selected fruits (apple and tomato) were measured using a penetrometer. Data from the penetrometer were transferred to objects (fruit) modeled in high resolution. User interface design has been realized by using various graphic libraries. In the interaction (collision) of the objects displayed in the graphic interface provided by the software developed within the scope of the research with the haptic cursor, a force feedback was transmitted to the user via the haptic device. In this way, a simulation design has been made that allows users to conceptualize and distinguish the hardness values of certain fruits by touching them. This study can be extended in the next steps by adding fruits with different hardness values to the simulation.","PeriodicalId":166917,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126492634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nerve damage can cause lower limb paralysis and impair walking. Survivors of stroke with varying degrees of motor dysfunction not only experience the discomfort of daily living, but also feel a great deal of stress along with the economic burden on the family and society. Many types of rehabilitation robots have been developing to aid rehabilitation in people with stroke. In this study, a new method for knee joint control using rehabilitation robots based on human-robot interaction process is present. The control process is based on quadriceps data when walking for a healthy human, using fuzzy rules designed to control the contribution of humans and robots to the walking process. The main purpose of this study was to present and simulate a smart solution to determine the amount of human and robot presence in knee motion correction in patients with stroke and cerebral palsy. Dynamic modeling using two-dimensional mapping of Hunan is use instead of humans and the robot model is a PID controller whose coefficients are determined using the Ziegler-Nigel’s method. The results show that the proposed model has been able to follow the knee angle curve with fuzzy system. Moreover, our results show that using a fuzzy system can lift the pressure on a person and help him walk. The proposed PID system can also play a significant role in reducing the fuzzy system error. The proposed control system without the presence of fuzzy system has an RMS error of 181/3 and also the RMS error in the presence of fuzzy system is equal to 0.698 indicating that the proposed control system is functioning properly.","PeriodicalId":166917,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Congress on Human-Computer Interaction, Optimization and Robotic Applications (HORA)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132966289","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
