Fast and accurate fastener detection is of great significance for improving the inspection efficiency of railway tracks. However, the existing fastener detection methods have the problem that the detection accuracy and detection speed of the model cannot be well balanced. In this paper, we present a track fastener detection method, which is based on the YOLOv4-Tiny deep convolution neural network. Specifically, data augmentation technology is applied to resolve imbalanced samples, the swish activation function is applied to track fastener detection, and the optimized detection model is deployed in Jetson Xavier NX embedded platform. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the accuracy and speed of fastener detection. It paves the way for the real-time track inspection tools to reduce track inspection cost and improve track safety.","PeriodicalId":166358,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 5th International Conference on Electronics Technology (ICET)","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116557707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To facilitate the problem, this paper replaces the dominantly used Internet Protocol (IP) with the promising named data networking (NDN) protocol in UAV swarm networks. As the major contribution, this paper elaborates an NDN interest packet retransmission control strategy and an NDN interest packet forwarding control strategy respectively, to increase the transmission reliability of live audio & video streams in the UAV swarm networks. A discrete event driven simulator has been developed for performance evaluation of the UAV swarm networks. Comparative experiments have been done in multiple representative scenarios, and the results demonstrate that both of the proposed transmission control strategies can significantly decrease the transmission failure ratio, effectively increase the network utilization ratio, with affordable degradation on the data request delay metric.","PeriodicalId":166358,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 5th International Conference on Electronics Technology (ICET)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122504239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the traditional electrothermal coupling finite element algorithm has poor calculation accuracy and consumes a long time. In this paper, a high-performance finite element algorithm for electro-thermal coupling field based on high order element is proposed. The mathematical model of electro-thermal coupling is established, and the high-order grid elements with better approximation effect are generated to improve the calculation accuracy. At the same time, the correlation between each step of the algorithm is analyzed, and an efficient electro-thermal coupling algorithm based on GPU is designed to improve the calculation accuracy. The computational performance of the algorithm is analyzed through a numerical case. The results show that the algorithm significantly improves the calculation accuracy, and its calculation efficiency can reach about 50 times of the traditional serial finite element algorithm.","PeriodicalId":166358,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 5th International Conference on Electronics Technology (ICET)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129651739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The radiation-hardened PA consists of a stacked structure where four transistors are connected in series and an adaptive radiation-hardened bias circuit for monitoring irradiation levels to adjust PA bias to achieve minimum saturated output power (Psat) degradation. The simulation results show that the PA without radiation-hardness achieves a small-signal gain of 18.5dB, a Psat of 24.9dBm with a peak power-added efficiency (PAE) of 39.6% at 10GHz. While in 300 krad(Si) radiation environment, the PA without radiation-hardness has a gain degradation of 2dB, Psat decline of 2dB, and PAE reduction by 10%. By using the adaptive radiation-hardened bias circuit, the degradation of gain is less than 0.7dB, Psat remains constant, and the reduction of PAE is 7%, when the radiation-hardened PA is irradiated up to 300 krad (Si).","PeriodicalId":166358,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 5th International Conference on Electronics Technology (ICET)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130309018","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the development of face forgery algorithms, some fake face images or videos generated by those strong forgery algorithms are very realistic, which have brought much difficulty to facial manipulation detection. In this paper, we present a novel facial manipulation detection method based on contrastive learning. We analyze the texture features of manipulated facial images and propose to compare and learn the features of the whole face and the center face in order to get more general features. It is found that improved electrical and thermal performance in ISV device structures is mainly due to the increased source area and not by the introduction of TSV into the source region inside active area. From findings of 3D FEM thermal simulation, we proposed a layout optimization method to have a good balance between device performance and device area (cost). The AWG incorporates the direct digital synthesis (DDS) for waveform generation, a master-slave collaborative configuration for crosstalk elimination, and a harmonic cancellation unit for spectral purity improvement. Moreover, a quantum-based characterization system to evaluate its performance is presented, where a digitizer PXI-5922 with high resolution and low noise floor automatically switching between the quantum voltage standard and AWG to remove the gain drift of the measurement electronics. In order to accelerate the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) calculation when analyzing the pulse pattern of the quantum voltage standard, we decompose one-dimensional (1D) digital patterns into two-dimensional (2D) digital patterns. During the research, the PSpice and MATLAB/Simulink are used separately to verify the reliability of design. However, the PSpice and MATLAB/Simulink can only simulate algorithm or device separately. This paper analyzes the reverse power transfer and soft-switching characteristics, establishes an optimized control model with minimum current stress as the optimization target, and conducts co-simulation based on PSpice-MATLAB/Simulink. The proposed horn antenna is cascaded by a coaxial to waveguide transition and a modified pyramidal horn. To suppress the high-order modes and improve the radiation efficiency, a metal cross and a substrate cover are added to the radiation aperture of the horn. Meanwhile, with the using of metal cross, the field distribution at the aperture changes from the approximate cosine distribution of the conventional horn to the dual cosine distribution, which is more effective to suppress the broadside grating lobes of array factor. Moreover, in order to adjust the parasitic resonance caused by the gaps in-between the elements, a metal frame is added to the sidewall of the horn and the parasitic resonance can be tuned flexibly. The aperture size of the proposed horn antenna is about 1.43 λ × 1.43 λ (λ is the wavelength in the air).
