IoT aims to provide advanced and intelligent services but at the same time to ensure security. It is a challenge to find lightweight security models and techniques as the IoT devices have low resources and low computing power. As a result, IoT devices became a target of cyber-attacks because of deficiency in safety mechanism. This paper discusses the vulnerabilities of IoT devices and several security challenges. We show that using 20 Mel frequency cepstral coefficients and 5-nearest neighbors we rich an overall correct classification rate of 99.27% in the testing phase. Lucaciu","doi":"10.1109/ISETC50328.2020.9301077","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ISETC50328.2020.9301077","url":null,"abstract":"This paper proposes a data association and tracking algorithm followed by polynomial fitting, in the case of multiple radar targets to improve the accuracy of targets’ trajectories estimated by an automotive radar sensor.Starting from the conjecture that any real trajectory is polynomial in cartesian coordinates the proposed method supposes to fit the data obtained at the output of Kalman filter to a polynomial. We used the polynomial fitting method for the trajectories of three targets, which we generated in two different scenarios. The system incorporates several modules, each module replacing a lighting switch in the building. The purpose of these modules is to control the lighting fixtures in the hallways of the buildings according to the movement in the covered area and the light intensity. The modules communicate with each other by radio communication, through a tree structure. All modules transmit information to the central node consisting of an Arduino Uno development board and the NRF24L01 radio communication module. It involved services for querying and indexing, both deployed in Microsoft Azure Cloud environment and virtual machines. The architecture contained three virtual machines acting as nodes for the Couchbase Server database. Deploying and establishing the database in the public cloud was done with Docker images. Some of the key features and applications from Microsoft Azure were tested, i.e. Monitor, Resource groups, Dashboard and Storage accounts. Generating a variable frequency voltage can be used in different applications as well as in the testing of asynchronous motors. As is known the speed of asynchronous motors depends on the frequency of the power supply to maintain a roughly constant torque. Power voltage value depends on the asynchronous motor type. The power source proposed in the paper is based on two large blocks, namely: a DC/DC convertor and an inverter stage. The DC/DC convertor can generate an output DC voltage of 310V or lower from an input DC voltage of 12 V. The output voltage of the DC/DC converter can be applied then to the inverter power stage obtaining in this case a sinusoidal voltage with amplitude close to 310 V and adjustable frequency. For the wavelet packets scrambling we propose a permutation based on the Baker chaotic map. To increase the entropy of the ciphered image and the key space of the cryptosystem two chaotic maps – the three-dimensional Arnold map, applied twice, and the tent map combined with the logistic map – are used. Matlab simulations show that, in each step, these chaotic maps increase the entropy of the encrypted images and the pixels’ decorrelation.
