We explore the results from various sets of control parameters for injection, the auto locks using CAE simulation performance analysis and optimization of process parameters combination of warpage. In the research, we look for each single objective optimization process combined with Taguchi Robust Design process with L18(21×37) orthogonal. The control factors are injection time, the material temperature, mold temperature, injection pressure, packing pressure, packing time, cooling liquid and cooling tube flow rate. From the results of warpage and shear stress as a performance index, we calculate the performance index of the signal to noise ratio (SNR). Using the optimal process parameters, the optimal warpages of 1.294mm, 0.163mm are obtained, which are lower than total warpage values of the original process parameters. The total values of warpage is improved by 11.2%.","PeriodicalId":165618,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Architecture, Construction, Environment and Hydraulics (ICACEH)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128502122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a battery is sensitive to temperature changes during charging or discharging, it is prominent to maintain the temperature within the specified safe operating conditions, that is from 25 to 40°C. Proper temperature management is required for the battery. The experiment process was conducted in hot soaking in the temperature range of 25 to 40°C. In this experiment, we selected commercial PCMs such as RT31, RT15, EG26, and EG5 to enhance the heat transfer. High thermal gradients were observed with expanded graphite PCM.","PeriodicalId":165618,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Architecture, Construction, Environment and Hydraulics (ICACEH)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126864768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the data from the Institute of Labor and Occupational Safety and Health of the Ministry of Labor, the construction industry has the highest occupational accident rate per thousand people, indicating that construction occupational safety still needs to be greatly improved. BIM has been widely used in construction projects. Its visibility, coordination, and simulation characteristics should be able to find construction hazards that are relatively invisible on general 2D construction drawings. Thus, this study uses BIM to assist in analyzing the construction risks of the bridge and researches on construction activities of relatively high risks with a bridge project as an example, to reduce the risks that may occur during actual construction activities. The research results indicate that the weight of each part of the main bridge tower is obtained by the BIM model, and the crane is selected after the rated load is calculated. This process prevents the weight of hanging objects from exceeding the rated load of the crane, thereby reducing the possibility of objects flying off from the crane. Two software packages, namely SketchUp and Fuzor, are used to simulate the movement line of the crane and the gyration radius of a hanging operation in advance. This process reduces (1) the risk of collision between cranes due to an overlap of their gyration radii and (2) the risk of collision between the crane and construction personnel who enter into the gyration radius during hanging operations.","PeriodicalId":165618,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Architecture, Construction, Environment and Hydraulics (ICACEH)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124053458","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been pointed out that the requirement of Chinese prudent technical standards has led to high costs. It is highly unlikely to change the standards. However, we need to reexamine and improve the precast components used in the prefabricated buildings for cost-effectiveness. To improve the laminated slab floor system, it is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of the truss reinforced laminated slab structure. Two experimental tests for the slabs reinforced with steel bar truss and steel tube/bar truss were carried out. The results show that the load characteristic values of the tube-bar truss reinforced slabs are significantly improved and have greater initial stiffness and resistance to deformation than the steel bar truss reinforced slab. When the specimen is damaged, the grout-filled steel tube does not undergo out-of-plane buckling and in-plane uplift. The result proposed the structure of the steel pipe allows a cost-effective and sustainable dry prefabricated and laminated slab system.","PeriodicalId":165618,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Architecture, Construction, Environment and Hydraulics (ICACEH)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121584741","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Main purpose is to devise a detection system for the separation of calibrated fluid and non-calibrated fluid. The research presents a microfluidic flow to the reaction chamber after the platform spinning with constant rotating frequency for a period of time. Overflow to the other areas did not happen when the reaction chamber had stomach-shape and the reservoir chamber had rectangular-shape in the platform. In addition, the maximum turbulence kinetic energy happened with the bending angle of the mixing runner to be 55°~60°. All of micro-flow flowed to the reservoir chamber from the reaction chamber when platform rotates with higher speed. This research verified that the optimal design of the platform achieved the mixing flow and controlled the flow of the micro-flow.","PeriodicalId":165618,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Architecture, Construction, Environment and Hydraulics (ICACEH)","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127713073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As focusing on improving the green performance of existing office buildings in China, this research is to develop and establish a green retrofitting assessment framework for their renovation diagnosis and rehabilitation of the existing office buildings. Through literature reviews and expert interviews, the major indices and the factors of the indices in the initial green retrofitting assessment framework were determined. Afterward, the Delphi method was used to finalize the assessment framework with the data of the expert questionnaires. The final assessment framework consisted of five indices and seventeen factors. The five indices were energy conservation, water saving, waste reduction, physical environment, and ecological protection. To easily apply the assessment framework to the existing office buildings, a renovation diagnosis and rehabilitation scoring table were established by using an analytic hierarchical process (AHP) to determine the relative weights of the issues and the factors. Finally, the scoring table was applied to an existing office building in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China to investigate the retrofitting diagnosis problems and propose the retrofitting strategies using available engineering and technology.","PeriodicalId":165618,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Architecture, Construction, Environment and Hydraulics (ICACEH)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132913116","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
