These ground currents may cause an electrochemical corrosion of the storage devices. The damages caused by the electrochemical corrosion may acquire high values and may also disable the storage device out of the operation. This article deals with the measurement and analysis of the stray currents caused by the electric traction on a 3 kV DC electrified railway track in the area of Puchov (Slovakia). Each examined locality was analyzed and evaluated in the term of the electrochemical corrosion. Adding rare earth elements such as gadolinium, the degradation rate of Mg-0.5Ca-xGd [x = 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 wt%] alloy taken into study is reduced. SEM, EDS were used for morphological characterization and also noninvasive testing (Resonant Ultrasound Spectroscopy and ultrasound method) were used to determine the mechanical characteristics. The idea originates from the ion parametric resonance theory, which presumes that low frequency electromagnetic fields are capable of altering biological response at the cellular level, targeting specific ions in the vicinity of cell membranes. This current sensing technique utilizes low-side MOSFETs in three phase low voltage power inverters in order to estimate the phase current. The MOSFET parameters are highly temperature dependent, hence the realization challenges are made up. The proposed algorithm is based on mathematical model, in which temperature dependent characteristics of MOSFET like on-state resistance and body diode forward voltage as a function of temperature are utilized. All MOSFET parameters and characteristics can be changed, while the MOSFET is exposed extreme operation conditions. This effect is called the aging effect of MOSFETs. The MOSFET aging effect can influence the proposed mathematical model of current sensing technique, hence this effect is investigated and simulated in order to evaluate the reliability of proposed technique. The work compares differences between wet and insulate electrode. There is analyzed circuit for active electrode which uses integrated voltage follower and there are also presented and simulated improvements for proper using this kind of active electrode for capacitively coupled electrode. Each of these simulations was performed in TINA SPICE - based analog simulation program by Texas Instruments. Finally, the article presents a solution for an operational amplifier integrated into the active electrode to prevent saturation of its inputs. The article proposes an approach to detecting such states of data races based on simulation of a program using the mathematical apparatus of Petri nets with additional semantic relations.
