Teaching General Physics at the Technical University

Abstract

Teaching Physics at technical universities has its challenges. We have a smaller number of the teaching hours, the students have a negative attitude towards physics and low motivation to achieve. However, if the lectures are properly designed they can help increase satisfaction of both the lecturer and the students. Here we discuss several features which could improve the quality of the General Physics course.
