The methodology used in this paper is to review several journals, books, and work experiences (experiment). SCADA in the highest position, the DCS at level 2, then the PLC at the very bottom. And there are two problems encountered, namely in terms of hardware and software. In case of hardware problem SCADA, DCS and PLC hit by lightning, exposed to droplets of water seepage, electrical fuse problem, the temperature of the hot room, high humidity, mainboard problem (due to lifetime), power supply (due to lifetime and bad electric power supply). In terms of the software, its software is corrupt, so it should be in the re-install. In general, a CD contains software for one PC (personal computer) because there is one CD software there is activation code where when you enter the activation code must be connected to the internet network that is detected automatically. The effect that causes the most loss was a broken fuse. So, dividing the same load each digital output or part is good architecture. The SCADA system had to be more concerned for cybersecurity compares with the DCS system due to its connection with the network. The Macromedia flash was used because run easily on a computer or laptop without supporting applications (user friendly). While science approach was used because Engineering Material course are science based. The development of interactive multimedia was used the Rowntree method. The Rowntree method has three stage: planning; development and evaluation. Based on results, interactive multimedia using Macromedia flash and science approach are valid with percentage of 83% for multimedia and 75.58% for matters, practice with percentage in small group test of 86%, and effective with percentage in field test of 100%. Automatic tool change is one of the important parameters for reducing manufacturing lead time. Machining studies on Martensitic Stainless Steel was conducted using Ti[C,N] mixed alumina ceramic cutting tool. Tool life was evaluated using flank wear criterion. The tool life obtained from experimental machining process was taken as training dataset and test dataset for machine learning. Tool life model was developed using Gradient Descent Algorithm. The experimental design uses the Taguchi method of 3^3 orthogonal array L9 with the parameters of powder size (20>x> 80, 80>y> 200, 200>z> 325), percentage of filler vs matrix (2%, 7%, 12%), and stirring time (30 Seconds, 3 Minutes, 12 Minutes). The optimum conditions for the hardness of Al-GRp composites were obtained from specimens with Mesh powder size parameters 200> z> 325, the percentage of glass vs aluminum powder was 12% wt, stirring time was 12 minutes. The experimental factor that has the greatest contribution to the hardness value of Al-GRP composites is the size of glass powder of 73.77%, followed by the percentage of glass powder to aluminum by 19.98%, and the stirring time of 1.21%. The optimum experimental parameters for tensile strength can be obtained from specimens with particle size parameters of 20> x> 80, the percentage of glass powder to the weight of aluminum 12%, and the stirring time of 30 seconds. This ability referred to as Shape Memory Effect (SME). The application of SMAs such as Ni-Ti and Cu-Zn-Al alloys usually used on automotive, biomedical, etc. The commonly used SMA is Ni-Ti because of its superior SME properties than Cu-Zn-Al, even though the price is quite higher. The SME of Cu-Zn-Al might be improved by increasing the presence of the martensite phase in its microstructure by heat treatment. The heat treatment process given to Cu-21Zn-5Al alloy is a homogenizing, annealing, solution treatment process and quenched with brine solution and dry ice. The heat-treated alloys then undergo several examination trough hardness tests, X-Ray Diffraction, metallography, SME test, and Differential Scanning Calorimetry to determine the SME and microstructure of Cu-21Zn-5Al. From the test results, the specimen with temperature treatment solution of 850oC and quenched by brine solution had the highest SME value by 36.67%. Governing equations of a micro-beam under forced vibration are established by using the modified couple stress theory, Bernoulli-Euler beam theory and D’Alembert’s principle together. A simply supported micro-beam under forced vibration is solved according to the established governing equations and the method of separation of variables. The dimensionless deflection, amplitude mode and period mode are defined to investigate the size-dependently mechanical behaviors of a micro-beam under forced vibration. Results show that the performance of a micro-beams under forced vibration is distinctly size-dependent when the ratio of micro-beam height to material length-scale parameter is small enough. The displacement field of the AFG micro-beam is set according to the Bernoulli-Euler beam theory. Employing the modified couple stress theory (MCST), the components of strain, curvature, stress and couple stress are expressed by the second derivative of the deflection of the AFG micro-beam. A size-dependent model related to FG effect and Poisson effect, which includes the formulations of bending stiffness, deflection, normal stress and couple stress, is developed to predict the mechanical behaviors of the AFG micro-beam by employing the principle of minimum potential energy. The mechanical behaviors of a simply supported AFG micro-beam are numerically investigated using the developed model for demonstrating the size effects, FG effects and Poisson effects of the AFG micro-beam. Results show that the mechanical behaviors of AFG micro-beams are distinctly size-dependent only when the ratio of micro-beam height to material length-scale parameter is small enough. The FG parameter is an important factor that determines and regulates the size-dependent behaviors of AFG micro-beams. The influences of Poisson’s ratio on the mechanical behaviors of AFG micro-beams are not negligible, and should be also considered in the design and analysis of an AFG micro-beam. A seed meter was tested by using EDEM (Engineering Discrete Element Method) software to simulate its working process at different speeds and tilt angles. The trajectories of individual cottonseeds in the seed-metering device were obtained, concurrently, the stress trend in the grain group was determined as a function of time. The simulation results suggest that at larger speeds, the metering index of the seed meter gradually decreases, while the index and the missing index gradually increase. As the tilt angle increased, the multiples index and missing index gradually decreased, while the multiples index gradually increased. When the seed meter speed reached 50 r/min and the tilt angle was 15°, the seed meter had a relatively good working performance with a seed spacing acceptance index of 92.59%, a multiples index of 1.85%, and a missing rate index of 5.56%. The seed meter was tested on a bench by using a JPS-12 performance-tester bench. At the aforementioned speed and angle, the coefficient of variation for the cottonseed spacing was 2.1%. The field trial results indicated that the multiples and the missing rates were higher than those for the tester bench but still met a passing rate of more than 90%. The coefficient of variation for the seed spacing was less than 10%, suggesting that the design could be used for field sowing.
