It works faster than SVM, since it solves a pair of smaller-sized quadratic programming problems rather than a larger one. Random projection (RP) is an oblivious feature extraction and dimension reduction method. This paper proposes a novel algorithm, named random projection for twin support vector machine (RP-TSVM), which inherits the high precision and fast solving speed of TSVM bounded with high efficiency and data-independent property of RP. We give two proofs on the geometry of TSVM under random projection. The first is that the sum of squared distances from the hyper-plane to points of one class in TSVM is almost unchanged with high probability, which insure the accuracy of RP-TSVM. The second is that the minimum enclosing ball in the feature space is preserved to within - relative error, ensuring comparable generalization as in the original space. Numerical experiments demonstrate the theoretical discoveries. And the computational experimental results also show that the accuracy of the proposed RP-TSVM is higher than RP-SVM. To deal with this situation, the Korean government and its affiliated organizations are providing GPS-assisted alarm units which inform the coordinates of the cables, their routes, and other relevant information, in addition to operating the surveillance ships regularly. Despite such efforts, the number has not decreased widely. Thus, in this paper, we are introducing a Graphic-based Maintenance System developed by the SUNCOM Co. (a venture company) and delivered to KT (Korea Telecom). The system assists in maintaining and managing the undersea cables and its application uses C++ and Visual Basic. Today, recommendation systems have a very close relationship with our modern society. However, despite the large amount of information available due to information technological advancement, finding information specific to the user's concern is getting more difficult. In order to handle such issues, the importance of the recommendation system has become apparent. Collaborative filtering is one of the referral systems, which automatically predicts the users’ interest based on the information on preference collected from a considerable number of people. However, accuracy issues come to the fore as an insufficient amount of information collected. This paper derived a regression equation using collaborative filtering of user preference information and official movies information to solve the problems, thereby proposing a movie recommendation system. By adding user preference information to the regression equation using only objective movie information, accuracy has been increased by 20%, and the recall ratio by 9%. This paper researched two kinds of topological structures and some control strategies. AC-AC converter and AC-DC-AC converter are proposed, both of them can provide accurate constant current for lighting aid. It can be distinguished from power supply. Three-phase source supplied for AC-DC-AC converter and Single-phase-source supplied for AC-AC converter. Topology of AC-DC-AC converter has lager power than AC-AC converter, then MATLAB/SIMULINK was used to simulate the two kinds of typologies with two kinds of control strategies named current single loop control strategy and voltage current double loop control strategy, the result showed that AC-DC-AC converter had faster response speed and more accurate output current than AC-AC converter. By computing the average of these Gabor amplitudes, the local texture features of bounding box can obtain, which are direction-invariant. By using histogram algorithm, these Gabor averages are projected onto a given base (some interval divisions) to get different projection coefficients, which can be combined into a feature vector. The vector combines local texture features and global statistic features to representative the texture features of the object. Recognition and Classification of ancient dwellings can be realized by using GLVQ. Experiments show, the vector can representative those irregular and low resolution ancient objects that are based on Gabor direction-invariant local texture features and histogram global features. The fiber morphological category can be distinguished by taking derivation of the fitting function. In order to overcome the disadvantages of common morphological detection, the measurement of fiber length and its degree of curvature by using skeleton information is carried out. The length of the skeleton is approximated as the true length of the wood fiber, and the projected length can be calculated according to the endpoint coordinates. Finally, the fiber's curl index was obtained. Through the experiment, it has verified rationality of the fiber morphology model, and it is proved that the measurement method based on skeleton information can be better to avoid the influence of wood fiber morphological changes to the length measuring accuracy, moreover the fiber curl index can be calculated to quantify the bending degree and the type of wood fiber. In order to improve the accuracy of the short-term electric load prediction, this paper proposes a short-term electric load prediction model (IQPSOBPNN) based on optimizing BP neural network. Firstly, it improves Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization to optimize the BP neural network parameters, and then adopts the optimized BP neural network to conduct modeling for the nonlinear change law of the short-term electric load prediction. Finally, it takes simulation test for the model performance. Visual Cryptography is an emerging field for improving the security level by encoding the secret video using encryption scheme and performs computational free decoding process. The secret sharing through visual cryptographic techniques for multiple stack users is not sufficient in providing high percentage result on video sharing domain. Video sharing did not develop source key properties for individual frames and as a result the quality estimation strategy on video frame was not achieved. Moreover, the target rate constraint for video quality under the encryption-decryption was not achieved. This encryption-decryption target key rate declines on arranging multiple sequences of frames from multiple stack users. To improve the quality of visual secret video sharing scheme, a Discrete Cosine Transform Chaos Cryptographic (DCTCC) mechanism is proposed in this paper. The main objective of DCTCC is to enhance the security level of different level video frame using the encryption key properties. Initially, sender takes the video of differing frame length and compresses the video on image using the Discrete Cosine Transformer. The Discrete Cosine Transformer based visual secret sharing of video in the image takes the luminance values and provides high lossless compression. Second, the embedded video frame is encrypted to perform the secret sharing (i.e., visual cryptographic) using the chaos method. The Chaos method uses the enhanced RSA key properties to improve the video quality estimation strategy. Chaos method in DCTCC works effectively with non-linear dynamic set of video frames from users and also with the discrete time dynamical video cryptographic system. On the decryption side, the chaos method is applied in the reverse procedural order to fetch the video quality of video frames from original image. Glaucoma is the second foremost reason of blindness. An efficient hardware based implementation of glaucoma screening is a significant task in the automated retinal image analysis method. This paper presents an automatic glaucoma screening using a TMS320C6416DSK DSP board. The detection procedure consists of two stages. The first stage comprises of image pre-processing and detection of optic nerve head center using circular Hough Transform .In the second stage, the optic disk diameter is calculated and cup is segmented from disk. The proposition between disk and cup is calculated for abnormal image screening. The implemented technique is tested on a publicly available retinal image data sets and the average accuracy achieved is 97.5%. Keywords: fundus image, glaucoma, optic disk, circular hough transform, TMS320c6416 1. Introduction Glaucoma is an irreversible eye syndrome. According to reports in 2010, it is second primary reason of blindness in the world. 2.3% of the peoples got affected from total population. It is predicted that this number will increase to 2.86% in 2020.Studies have been shown that increase in intraocular pressure (IOP) of the eye is one the cause for glaucoma [2]. To maintain healthy vision, eye produces a small amount fluid called aqueous humor the same amount fluid will be thrown out of eye. This balance keeps the IOP in limit. If the balance is not maintained the IOP increase and damage the optic nerve head which make irreversible vision loss. So, the early precise detection and treatment of glaucoma will control the progression of the disease. The ophthalmologist uses the ratio between optic cup and optic disk (CDR) as a parameter to screen the glaucoma patients. The CDR is <0.65 in case of normal eye and for the glaucoma eye the value is lies in between 0.65 to 0.9. Manual glaucoma screening is time consuming and prone to human error.
