The leukaemia this considered to be the most serious and common disease due to the increasing of radiation pollution levels. In this study the province of Basrah was selected because this province contains many of the wars remnants due to the Gulf Wars (1991, 2003). The aim of this study is to investigate the possibility of any a relationship between the radioactivity level and leukaemia incidence; there are a direct or indirect relationship between the cancer rate and the exposure to radiation. Therefore, the levels of different radionuclide in leukaemic patients. In order to achieve our goal 75 samples were study and many techniques are utilized, such as the SAM 940 TM (Gamma ray Spectroscopy). In addition, to compare between the healthy and Leukaemic samples, the UV-Vis spectrometer has been used. The results showed that there is a big difference between the radionuclide’s concentrations of the healthy and patients samples. For example, the 238 U concentration in several Leukaemic patients were (2.0958 Bq/Kg), whilst at healthy individuals were (0.408 Bq/Kg). The theoretical model was solved and shown the effect of different optical parameters on the diffusion and friction of neutral atoms .The different values of ellipticity (Ɛ) were used to find the friction and diffusion coefficients ,for each value of ellipticity we found that the relationship between the natural width of excited level( γ) and the difference(δ) between the frequency of laser field(ω) and the atomic resonance (ω 0 ) has strong effect on the friction coefficient of atoms .The effect of Rabi frequency (Ω ) on the diffusion coefficient has been investigated .In this research the results showed that each of the parameters δ and Ω has effect on the diffusion of atom and the Rabi frequency has more influence. The dependence of the friction and diffusion coefficients on the natural width of the excited level was studied. The measuring of the friction and diffusion coefficients of atom very important to control the movement and then localize it, this have many applications in physics fields.","PeriodicalId":16215,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Kufa - Physics","volume":"5 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86626186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also the excitation cross section is performed by Williams et. al [3], where they calculate the excitation cross section at a limited number of electron impact energies. In the experimental side, Leep and Gallagher [4], Zajonc and Gallagher [5] were measured the excitation cross section for 2s-state to 2p-state for neutral lithium collide with electrons. The importance of studying inelastic scattering is coming from that the need is increasing for reliable and accurate computational cross section data in many fields like astrophysics, physics of radiation, and plasma physics [6]. In the inelastic interactions of neutral atoms -in ground and excited stateswith electrons, the information of cross sections are very important and has fundamental interest. A database of theoretical cross sections for inelastic collision of lithium atoms with electrons in the ground and excited states have been proposed by Schwinzer et. al [7]. To derive accurate cross sections for all inelastic excitation processes for lithium atoms colliding with single electrons they used sophisticated theoretical methods of calculations. The results of these methods were tested critically against the available newest experimental measurements data. The computation of atomic transition probabilities for allowed electric dipole lines of Li-atom, were performed by Wiese et. al [8]. The critical data compilations were included transitions between ground state and some excited states and between excited states itself.","PeriodicalId":16215,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Kufa - Physics","volume":"48 1","pages":"29-33"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82359645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The effect of non-thermal plasma on these prepared films in two exposure times of (30, 60) minutes was studied. The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) of the prepared pure ( CdO) films showed that the films have polycrystalline structure of cubic phase with preferred orientation (111) . It was noted that the increasing of deposition time of (Nd : YAG) laser , reduces the intensity of diffraction peaks at (111 ) , (200) , (220) . The results of (XRD) have also showed that when the prepared pure ( CdO ) films are exposed to non-thermal plasma , their crystalline structure was not affected . The tests also showed that the increasing of the exposure time to non-thermal plasma causes a decrease in the intensity of the diffraction peaks.
