Products available today has many features, but none has the ability to clean on different leveled surface area or multistory house. This research develops a vacuum cleaner robot that is capable of cleaning open-space area using boustrophedon path planning and has the ability to completely clean staircase area. Arduino Mega 2560 is used as the main processor, with timing belt system to move a platform as the climbing mechanism. The robot uses mecanum wheels, enabling the robot to move in all directions within a tight space. Step up test will be conducted in 2 phases, first the robot will climb a box with varying height from 5-25cm with 5cm increments, repeated 10 times for each different height. The second phase tests the robot on a staircase for 20 repetitions, to examine its ability in completely covering a staircase. The result is the robot successfully climbs to the height of 20cm with 100% success rate and fails at 25cm, it also achieves 80% success rate on staircase complete area coverage test. The boustrophedon path-planning test is conducted using an unobstructed, walled, 120x120cm open-space arena, marked with 30x30cm grid. The robot is tested by placing it at 4 different initial position, repeated 10 times for each to test its ability to find the nearest corner, and then, using the same arena, make the robot cover it completely using boustrophedon path planning. This results in 100% success rate in finding the nearest corner and 85% success rate for complete area coverage. Vacuum cleaning ability is then tested by having the robot clean traces of flour and salt, representing very fine and small particles of dirt, but due to a bad design for the dust collection tunnel, the vacuum suction power is very weak and this results in failure to completely clean both substances.","PeriodicalId":161240,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127876054","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In balancing the two limitations, oversizing the inverter can enable reactive power injection with a long-living operation. However, allowing excessive reactive power flow can also affect the active power requirement of the inductive loads. In this paper, a three-phase Grid-connected PV inverter simulation is made to investigate the inverter’s and load’s behavior when injecting reactive power required by the load to maintain a sufficient voltage on the grid. The inverter was oversized to a 1.60 AC-DC ratio. The system is simulated on the day and night motor startup operation with a 5ph induction motor started on the direct online method. The simulation results show that the motor power absorption is deficient when high reactive power is compensated.","PeriodicalId":161240,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116729735","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This phenomenon led rice to be highly demanding food and planted in many regions. However, the habitat rice plantation contributes to the rice quality, taste, and fragrance that impact the particular rice market price. This research proposed an identification system to differentiate the rice grain properties based on the rice grain’s spectral and spatial information. The proposed identification system consists of the workbench and the algorithm that computed hyprcube data from the camera. The hyperspectral camera in the range 400-1000 records the rice grain sample placed in the petri dish. The image correction and segmentation were performed t enerate the 3D image rice sample as an input of the Convolution Neural Network (CNN). The CNN was modified from the autoencoder approach to classifying the rice habitat. Five types of rice habitat from different planting areas were used to measure the system performance, such as Bandung, Indramayu, Subang, Karawang, and Palembang. A total of 480 rice data sets were used to compute the accuracy of the CNN classification model. The accuracy of CNN is 100% at the training and 94% at the test.","PeriodicalId":161240,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126734406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of a BLDC motor as a driver requires maintenance methods that can maintain the reliability of the BLDC motor. In this final project, performance testing of a BLDC Motor is carried out when there is an unbalanced stator scheme that can be used as a reference for BLDC motor maintenance. This research was conducted by observing the performance detection results of several parameters using software and data loggers. The performance results were analyzed by using the statistical comparison method of each stator against the stator’s performance under normal conditions. Based on the test results, this study provides parameter performance values that have deviations from normal conditions, and the parameter performance values tested are different from the balanced performance when there is an unbalance scheme of the stator winding on the tested BLDC motor.","PeriodicalId":161240,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130325126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This system is assumed operates over a frequency-selective and uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). The system performance is observed in two conditions, the first condition is that the BS is assumed to know the channel information perfectly (perfect CSI condition), the second condition is that the BS performs the channel estimation process at a certain coherence interval (imperfect CSI condition). The BS estimates channel information from the pilot sent by user using Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) estimator. Several precoding techniques are used to overcome Multiuser Interference (MUI) at the receiver, namely Maximum Ratio (MRT), Zero Forcing (ZF) and MMSE. The observed parameter are Bit Error Rate (BER) and Spectral Efficiency (SE). From the simulation results, it can be seen that the use of a large number of array antennas can significantly increase the spectral efficiency. ZF and MMSE precoding work better than MRT precoding in minimizing MUI. Spectral efficiency is also affected by the channel model, where the spectral efficiency on the UR-LOS channel is higher than Rayleigh channel. In the imperfect CSI condition, the channel estimation error is getting bigger, so that the spectral efficiency will decrease and become lower than the perfect CSI condition.","PeriodicalId":161240,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125084902","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, this study tries to enhance its quality using the Exposure Fusion Framework (EFF). The EFF is a new image enhancement technique that is introduced by Ying et al. in 2017. This enhancement technique will be compared with the Contrast-Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE). The enhancement performance is assessed using extracted Retinal Blood Vessel (RBV) images. In this study, the Coye algorithm is used to extract the RBV. The Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) value of the extracted RBV is used to assess the enhancement performance. Furthermore, this study utilized Structural Similarity Index (SSIM) as the second metric. The average values of PNSR and SSIM of the CLAHE-enhanced image about 59 dB and 0.993. Furthermore, the average values for the EFF-enhanced image are about 61 dB and 0.996. In the qualitative assessment, the EFF enhancement technique performs better than CLAHE. In general, the EFF enhancement technique performs better than the CLAHE. Besides, EFF requires a much longer time to process the image, around 120 times. The EFF can be used to improve retinal-based eye disease detection. There are also two types of multimodal systems regarding their authenticity techniques: serial and parallel authentication. In this study, the proposed multimodal biometric system uses a different technique, namely the feature source compaction technique. Each recorded biometric characteristic data (voice, face, and fingerprint) is converted into a grayscale image (called a feature source image). All feature source images of the same sample are arranged into a 3D image. The proposed VCG feature is extracted from the texture image resulting from applying the feature source compaction technique. In this way, only one generated feature for each data sample (as opposed to other serial or parallel multimodal systems). This study uses three genuine users with five data samples for each and 25 fake users. The authentication stage has tested using all data samples from all users as guest users. It means that there will be a total of 35 guest users for each of the three prototypes of VCG features. There are three test scenarios (in addition to the proposed method) used to determine the compaction sub-stage's effect on the resulting VCG feature prototype. The study results showed that the proposed method has a FAR range with the smallest limit value (0 – 17.33%) and the highest accuracy (85.56% - 100%). It has proven that the proposed method is much better than the other three scenarios.","PeriodicalId":161240,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126933790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Post-Stroke patients with spasticity can cause a lack of ability to grasp object. Repetition of specific-task practice, such as grasping and lifting a cup, can help the recovery of spasticity. After various physiotherapy techniques to treat spasticity on the hand, it is necessary to evaluate the strength of the patient's hands during grasping. Rehabilitation technology, including exoskeleton, are being developed to enhance hand function in patients with spasticity. Although there are many task-spesific practice method with exoskeleton, to get a measurement of force during grasp interactions is still challenging. The purpose of this study is to develop a hand exoskeleton with feedback from tactile sensor to measure contact force distribution at patient's rmgertips during grasp movement, then external power from the exoskeleton helps subjects maintain grip strength. The external power is determined based on the measured contact force distribution value using the tactile sensor and it is value compared with the threshold obtained based on experiment. The normal hand grip threshold measurement obtained for lifting a cup was 2.254 N. During rehabilitation, subjects were hold and lift a cup 10 times. It was found the timing of fatigue during experiments on subjects 1, 2, 4 and 5 respectively occurred in the 9th, 10th, 8th and 9th tests. Furthermore, exoskeleton can maintain the strength of the grasp around the threshold by giving external power stimulus if the contact force measurement were detected below the threshold. As a result, in the whole test before fatigue appeared, the total average value of the grasp was above the threshold.","PeriodicalId":161240,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134084943","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
