Du ja era uma celebridade em sua epoca na era republicana e ainda e uma figura controversa na Grande China. No entanto, existem apenas dois filmes baseados na vida do chefao do opio da Confissao Francesa, a recente coproducao de Hong Kong/RPC The Last Tycoon (Da Shang Hai, Wong Jing, 2012) e as epicas duas partes Senhor do Mar da China Oriental I e II (Shang Hai huang di zhi: Sui yue feng yun e Shang Hai huang di zhi: Xiong ba tia xia, Hong Kong, Poon Man-kit 1993). Mostro como esses filmes refletem as mudancas politico-economicas de Hong Kong e da China, concentrando-se na representacao da classe social e do sujeito, na representacao da migracao e imigracao interna e no nacionalismo. Tais representacoes podem ser desmotivadoras e causar fadiga. E necessario ampliar e elaborar nossa compreensao das conexoes humanas com as mudancas climaticas. O objetivo deste artigo e identificar uma ampla variedade de praticas climaticas expressas por usuarios de midia social. Foi realizado um estudo empirico de 42 contas ecologicas finlandesas do Instagram. O conteudo textual e visual dos posts relacionados ao clima foi analisado qualitativamente para identificar praticas climaticas e o papel que as imagens visuais desempenham nessas representacoes. Seis tipos de praticas climaticas foram identificados nos dados: destacando, reformando, transiluminando, perseverando, cuidando e consolidando. O radio brasileiro valoriza o modelo “hard news”, com cobertura ao vivo, vozes de especialistas e entrevistas apoiadas por pautas apressadas, causa e consequencia da insignificante presenca de modos mais elaborados de producao. Ja plataformas assincronas como o podcast caracterizam nova Experiencia Midiatizada de Escuta, decorrencia das “estruturas de sentimento” contemporâneas, determinadas pela mediacao tecnologica de praticas cotidianas e por relacoes emergentes de representatividade, impondo uma nova logica de consumo de noticia. This article will focus on the relationship between documentary images and history, and the characteristics of \"cultivation\" formed by these long-term images. Nuestro trabajo se basa en la consideración del emplazamiento nuclear que este cine ocupa en el universo audiovisual del siglo XX, tal como asegura Patricia Zimmerman. Para esta autora, la singularidad de estas películas está en que son los propios espectadores quienes se hacen cargo de los mecanismos audiovisuales. We refer to them with the category of \"uncomfortable photographs\" due to their direct confrontation with power and the questions they pose due to their violent, outrageous and disturbing content. Las ultimas derivas neovanguardistas del cine de lo real, desde los documentales interactivos a los de realidad virtual, senalan la emergencia de una posvision que desplaza la vista mas alla del cotejo optico y naturalista: aliada con la tecnologia, la vista se convierte en un dispositivo hermeneutico alimentado por la confluencia de la imaginacion con el pensamiento. It is conceived of as a form of algorithmic filmmaking, that blends the aesthetics and visual power of cinema with the flexibility and mutability of computer programming. Written in the Processing language, the Pixeldust engine accepts photographic portraits, disassembles them into component pixels and particles that lie like dust in the bottom of the projected screen, then dramatically sweeps them up and crystallizes them into a complete portrait accompanied by the spoken word attributed to the portrayed person.
