The antenna is set in a superstructure of the surface ship (SS) and is intended for a long-distance radio communication in the range of 10-30 MHz. The antenna power is four single-turn windings with ports on multilayered ferrite cores of a loop. Effect of the phase feeding of the ports on the directional properties and efficiency of the antenna was studied taking into account the electromagnetic interaction with the SS body and the underlying surface. The radiation patterns in the main planes and the values of the efficiency of the MA-SS system at frequencies of 10-30 MHz for different modes of antenna power are presented.","PeriodicalId":158616,"journal":{"name":"2019 Radiation and Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves (RSEMW)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125296413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The comparison between predicted and measured MUF has shown that the proposed method significantly increases the accuracy of calculation MUF. The results of calculating frequency dependence of the radio field strength have shown that the scattering of radio waves in the ionosphere leads to the possibility of receiving radio waves at frequencies exceeding the maximum usable frequencies.","PeriodicalId":158616,"journal":{"name":"2019 Radiation and Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves (RSEMW)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129011103","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this distribution, a representation of the radiation pattern is obtained in the form of a sum of partial diagrams corresponding to the components of the amplitude aperture distribution. The main relations of the frequency-independent radiation pattern formation were analyzed. In particular, the dependence of the maximum permissible inter-element antenna array distance on the relative frequency overlap and width of the generated radiation patterns has been established.","PeriodicalId":158616,"journal":{"name":"2019 Radiation and Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves (RSEMW)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116905955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
