Microstrip Filter with Extended Barrier

Abstract

The article describes the method and process of designing a interdigital bandpass filter on two two-stage microstrip resonators. As a result of the design, thanks to the introduction of two steps of different widths into the resonator, it was possible to double the barrier band by suppressing the parasitic bandwidth in the vicinity of the third harmonic.
