Researchers have been increasingly putting efforts into building models to perform essential NLP tasks like spell correction, grammar correction, summarizing, and so on. Compared to the plethora of tools and data available for English, Hindi is a relatively new area in which not much work has been done so far. Therefore, researchers need to build frameworks and technologies that support the Hindi language to perform such complex tasks effectively.However, with limited data and tools available for Hindi, performing Grammatical Error Correction (GEC) for Hindi may come across as a challenge. Therefore, we propose Vyakranly (व्याक्रणली), a Hindi Translation and Grammatical Error Detection Toolkit for the Indic language Hindi. Objectives of Vyakranly (व्याक्रणली) are Hindi Text Spelling Error Detection and correction, Hindi Sentence Grammar Error Detection and correction, English to Hindi and Hindi to English text translation. Highlights of our work are Hindi spelling detection as well as correction and grammar error detection. It is difficult to find such past work for the Hindi language due to their relative lack of digitized content and complex morphology, compared to English.","PeriodicalId":158124,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Biennial International Conference on Nascent Technologies in Engineering (ICNTE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114067392","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Water level maintaining in the tanks within the safe level is very important to avoid wastages of water. When the pump is turned ON, users will not realize that the water tank is filled, which may result in overflow. Automatic Water level indication can be used to sort out the issues associated with water tank. It is also possible to check the level of the water using sensor so that whenever the water goes below, pump gets turned ON automatically. Also, when there is overflow of water in water tank it uses sensor to detect the water level so that if the water level goes above, the pump gets turned off automatically. This system prevents wastage of water. Also, the need of water can arise at different areas in different times. So, with the help automated distribution system, water can be distributed at required place and at required time. A centralized self-thinking system is made to automatically distribute water. Moreover, the system is powered by Solar Module making it green technology. Also, IoT applications are done to control and monitor the system wirelessly over cloud.","PeriodicalId":158124,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Biennial International Conference on Nascent Technologies in Engineering (ICNTE)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115017875","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is usually done with a tangible certificate of authenticity, which can get lost or damaged over time. In this paper, we solve this problem by creating an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) for the object that will be permanently recorded on the blockchain network and will trace the chain of ownership as well as the cost at each transaction. NFTs can be issued to rare collectibles to aid in the authentication of the item’s authenticity. Blockchain tokens are classified as either fungible or non-fungible assets. Fungible tokens are interchangeable; they are identical and can be replaced by another identical token. They may be used to represent everything from Bitcoin and video game cash to tokenized representations of actual commodities like crude oil or gold. NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are one-of-a-kind and cannot be traded. Non-fungible assets are unique and cannot be swapped directly, such as a piece of digital art you made, a car ownership certificate, or a gaming character.The NFT which is created is secured by the consensus mechanism of blockchain and prevents fraudulent transactions. The NFT can be transferred from one ETH wallet to another ETH wallet when the collectible is sold to another person and this transaction is stored in the blockchain. The NFT’s whole transaction history is permanently preserved on the blockchain and can be confirmed by anybody using the token ID.","PeriodicalId":158124,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Biennial International Conference on Nascent Technologies in Engineering (ICNTE)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133936586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This rapid influx of migrants has increased the pressure on the services deployment, traffic congestion within the city, prevention of criminal activities, energy usage and waste reduction. This can lead to the impending failure of the management system within the cities, looming with the burden of issues. These events have triggered the remediation of such issues through the development of smart cities projects. In order to obtain a realistic answer to this challenge, several pilot programs have been initiated around the world. Smart city surveillance systems are being designed to make the urban areas smart enough to monitor the changes and activities in their ambient environment. For the handling of such rapidly growing issues, the governments along with their supporting organisations, private organisations, other non-governmental agencies working non-profitable, academics and researchers and the general public of the nations must work collaboratively on innovative ideas with the use of different technological advancements. This paper provides a survey of the various smart city initiatives for the betterment of the living standards of the residents. Various open issues and challenges have been discussed. Solutions proposed in the field, for the remediation of the looming issues, have also been looked upon. Finally, the future perspective in the domain has also been reviewed and the impact of smart city surveillance system into the people’s lives has also been looked upon.","PeriodicalId":158124,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Biennial International Conference on Nascent Technologies in Engineering (ICNTE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115462204","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A Battery Management System (BMS) is required to continuously monitor the battery pack used for any application. A BMS is responsible to make the battery work in a safe operating range, estimating the SOC, and optimizing the usage of each cell inside the battery pack. This paper proposes a technique to design a simple BMS with a warning system. This BMS also deals with the issue of over-charging and deep discharging by balancing the cells inside the battery pack i.e. all cells have the same level of SOC, thus ensuring a healthy battery for the appliances, avoiding any damage and longer life of the battery pack. Also a different topology of the Active Cell Balancing Technique is proposed which balances the cells based on SOC% and not based on Terminal Voltage. The proposed BMS system is experimentally verified in MATLAB/ Simulink software.","PeriodicalId":158124,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Biennial International Conference on Nascent Technologies in Engineering (ICNTE)","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131709817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Micro services are the latest evolution in this transformation. Micro services are software systems specially designed to do one thing and only one thing but do it well. Internet of Things systems are usually designed to operate in the field without manual supervision. As such these systems need to have sufficient software functionality to display fault tolerance, error state recovery and operational consistency. This project is designed to deliver these core Internet of Things functionalities through an ecosystem of micro services. Specifically the project will focus on an in field gateway device – in this case a Raspberry Pi and implement micro services for environmental monitoring, command and control, device registration and on-boarding and over the air software upgrades. These systems will empower the gateway device to successfully integrate itself into a cloud connected content platform. For the purposes of this project all cloud components will be orchestrated on Amazon Web Services, the gateway device will be a Raspberry Pi Model B and the micro services built in Java.","PeriodicalId":158124,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Biennial International Conference on Nascent Technologies in Engineering (ICNTE)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114546965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As dust and dirt particles build up on PV panels, less solar energy reaches the cells, lowering their overall power production. Cleaning the PV panels is thus an issue of major practical engineering significance in the production of solar power. A portable robotic cleaning system with a versatile platform that moves the entire length of a panel can be created. Robotic cleaning solutions are useful and can aid in preserving the effectiveness of solar panels. This project involves creating a mechanism for cleaning solar panels. The primary goal of this design prototype is to clean the solar panel without compromising its effectiveness or quality. Solar panel cleaning will save installation costs, aid in obtaining a constant maximum energy output from the sun, and make it easier to provide the required peak electrical power.","PeriodicalId":158124,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Biennial International Conference on Nascent Technologies in Engineering (ICNTE)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123734117","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our project aims to make a web app using blockchain technology to build an e-voting system. Blockchain technology is immutable, distributed, and incontrovertible, making this web app more secure and robust. The suggested solution is a web application with better security capabilities, such as authentication and authorization. A special identification key is used for authentication. The vote is cast as a transaction, and a blockchain is constructed to keep track of the transactions. Through this the ACID properties of a transaction are satisfied. This web app would be more suitable for small-scale election processes to ensure secure and clean voting.","PeriodicalId":158124,"journal":{"name":"2023 5th Biennial International Conference on Nascent Technologies in Engineering (ICNTE)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117038664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The mathematical time series model of NRZ-OOK modulation and the optical power distribution are prepared in MATLAB in order to evaluate the functioning of the proposed system. To validate and test the performance of the same, a white LED of wavelength 550nm is set-up as the transmitter in our system and simulated using the Optisystem software, both with and without the presence of ambient light noise. A maximum speed of 10Gbps with a BER (Bit Error Rate) of 5.15585×10−11 is achieved for a link range of 1m in ideal conditions.
