Each satellite controls itself using the relative states describing its position and velocity relative to neighboring satellites it can sense. The formation control problem with n satellites is thus reduced into stabilization problem of single satellite with the identical relative dynamics, individualized by a specific scalar parameter. This scalar parameter takes the nonzero eigenvalues of a Laplacian matrix which represents the topology of relative measurements among all satellites. The modified relative dynamics can be viewed as linear system with uncertain parameters and an optimal guaranteed cost control law can be applied. Simulation results show the efficiency of the proposed decentralized formation control strategy for satellite formation flying. 1","PeriodicalId":155562,"journal":{"name":"IEEE ICCA 2010","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128903113","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The stabilization of this system is transformed into the robust stabilization of a set of systems. A novel stability result is given for this system, which is specially applied on model predictive control (MPC) that explicitly considers the satisfaction of input and state constraints. A synthesis approach of MPC, parameterizing the infinite horizon control moves into a single state feedback law, is proposed. A simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed MPC.","PeriodicalId":155562,"journal":{"name":"IEEE ICCA 2010","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133733889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A 2-DOF rate gyro and a camera are mounted on the inner gimbal. Target segmentation is considered solved and visual information is the location and velocity of the target centroid in the image plane. Visual feed forward directly to the canards obviates the conventional stability augmentation loop. Closed-loop control of the seeker was integrated with a realistic model of a missile to investigate the synergism between relevant subsystems such as image processing, seeker controller and missile guidance. Homing accuracy is examined under unfavorable initial conditions, torquer saturation, seeker and canard constraints, rate gyro random drift and bias, gimbal potentiometer noise, optical geometric distortions and image segmentation errors. The results indicate the effectiveness of feed forward visual homing.","PeriodicalId":155562,"journal":{"name":"IEEE ICCA 2010","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124332522","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A sufficient and necessary condition for µA-almost sure stability is derived, where µA is the Parry measure of the topological Markov chain with a prescribed transition (0,1)-matrix A. The obtained µA-almost sure stability is invariant under small perturbations of the system. The topological description of stable processes of switched linear systems in terms of Hausdorff dimension is given, and it is shown that our approach captures the maximal set of stable processes for linear switched systems. The obtained results cover the stochastic Markov jump linear systems, where the measure is the natural Markov measure defined by the transition probability matrix. We further show that if the switched system is periodically switching stable, then (i) it is almost sure exponentially stable for any Markov probability measures; (ii) the set of stable switching sequences has the same Hausdorff dimension as the one for the entire set of switching sequences.","PeriodicalId":155562,"journal":{"name":"IEEE ICCA 2010","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116917141","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The three-axes-magnetometer is suitable to use for small satellite requests low cost, low weight, and reliable attitude sensor. The B-Dot control law is a simple and reliable method that is suitable for this purpose. It uses three-axis-magnetometer to calculate the magnitude of the dipole moment with the magnetic torques that is amplified and reversed-directed to the derivative of the earth's magnetic field vector in the rotating body frame. The attitude determination system needs to use a sequence of magnetometer measurements. These measurements process recursively in a Kalman filter. The Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) is estimated the attitude and attitude rates. In the filtering process, the magnetic field components are used to update as measurement is used to propagate the state vector, this strategy reduces the workload of computation effectively.","PeriodicalId":155562,"journal":{"name":"IEEE ICCA 2010","volume":"317 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123489128","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to reduce the complexity of the helicopter autonomous control, this paper constructs an indoor autonomous flight control platform for a small coaxial helicopter ESky LAMA4, which is convenient for data collection, data analysis and control law design. Firstly, the Vicon Mx Motion Capture System is installed to obtain the attitudes and positions of the coaxial helicopter. Secondly, a PCTx converter for the radio controller is used to convert the control commands into PPM signals which are sent into the radio controller. Hence the attitude and translational motion can be controlled. Then in the inner attitude loop and outer translational loop, several PID controllers are designed for the autonomous hovering control of the small coaxial helicopter. Finally the flight results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed approach, which can be adopted into the study of small unmanned helicopters in the future.","PeriodicalId":155562,"journal":{"name":"IEEE ICCA 2010","volume":"606 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117078665","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
