Prinsip kerja dari metode ozonasi, yaitu dengan mengontakkan O2 dengan elektron, kemudian menghasilkan O* radikal ini apabila bertumbukan dengan protein akan membentuk ion hidroksil (OH-) yang berguna dalam merombak ikatan-ikatan dari persenyawaan kimia, dari senyawa organik kompleks (protein) menjadi senyawa organik yang lebih sederhana, baik organik maupun anorganik yang terdapat dalam limbah, sehingga dapat menurunkan parameter BOD dan COD. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menurunkan kandungan BOD dan COD yang terdapat pada limbah cair industri tahu dengan menggunakan metode ozonasi. Pada penelitian yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil yang kurang sesuai dengan teori yang ada, maka dilakukan satu kali percobaan untuk laju alir 400 mg/jam. Penurunan BOD dari 2619,06mg/L menjadi 1769,63mg/L dan COD dari 5805,31mg/L menjadi 2690,27mg/L, sehingga sebaiknya laju alir yang digunakan laju alir 400mg/L dan waktu 60menit. Kandungan keratin yang terdapat pada bulu ayam merupakan bahan dasar pembuatan adsorben. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan adsorpsi logam Fe dengan bulu ayam untuk menurunkan kadar Fe dalam sampel air tanah. Pada penelitian ini dipelajari pengaruh variasi berat massa adsorben dan waktu kontak terhadap kapasitas adsorpsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel massa adsorben dalam proses adsorpsi sebesar 0.1 ,0.3, 0.5, 0.7 dan 0.9gram serta waktu kontak antara sampel dengan adsorben dengan waktu 40, 60, 80, 100 dan 120menit. Tahapan pada penelitian ini yaitu pembuatan serbuk bulu ayam, aplikasi serbuk bulu ayam, dan penentuan konsentrasi akhir logam Fe dalam sampel air tanah. pada penelitian didapatkan Titik optimum penyerapan Fe oleh bulu ayam terjadi pada massa 0.5gr dan waktu 40menit dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin besar massa adsorben bulu ayam maka semakin banyak pula jumlah Fe yang terserap. Namun jika jumlah Fe yang terserap sudah jenuh, maka penambahan massa adsorben tidak memberi pengaruh yang signifikan. Sonication is used to decrease particles of TiO2 which helped of a sonicator with sulfuric acid solution as solvent for TiO2. Then, the sol gel method is used to composite silica (from geothermal sludge that extracted using NaOH into sodium silica solution) and TiO2 solution (that has been sonicated) into the mixture of titania-silica has been made. To study the effect composition of the composite used TiO2 from 4 until 8 grams of weight and pH of gelling from the sol gel process from 4 until 8. The product will be characterized with X-Ray fluorescence (XRF), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR). From the analysis shows, by variation weights of TiO2 and variation pH of gelling,ratio of the product (composite titania-silica) is obtained in range of 0,3113 until 1,5268. Then showing the presence of titania-silica bonds can be seen at 965.1 and 967.03 cm-1 of wave numbers. The XRD pattern of the composite shows the presence of amorphous silica and titania crystals on that product. Pengolahan limbah dilakukan secara kimia dengan flokulasi menggunakan flokulan dari bahan organik, yaitu pati biji asam jawa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh dosis pati biji asam jawa terhadap penurunan kadar Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) pada limbah cair industri tahu dan waktu proses flokulasi terhadap penurunan kadar COD. Metode penelitian terdiri atas isolasi pati biji asam jawa dan flokulasi limbah cair industri tahu. Isolasi pati biji asam jawa dilakukan dengan metode deproteinasi dan demineralisasi. Metode deproteinasi menggunakan larutan NaOH dengan konsentrasi 0,1M, dilanjutkan metode demineralisasi menggunakan larutan HCl 0,1M. Setelah itu dilakukan proses flokulasi terhadap 250ml limbah tahu yang memiliki kadar COD awal sebesar 5980,95mg/L, dengan variasi dosis bioflokulan 4,5; 9; 13,5; 18; 22,5gram dan variasi waktu pengadukan selama 5, 10, 15, 20, 25menit. Edible film diaplikasikan pada bahan pangan karena sifatnya yang mudah larut dan berfungsi sebagai barrier sehingga dapat melindungi produk makanan. Edible film terbuat dari bahan yang dapat membentuk lapisan tipis seperti hidrokoloid serta campuran polimer dan plasticizer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat edible film dari campuran tepung kappa karagenan dan kitosan dari limbah cangkang rajungan dengan penambahan gliserol. Dalam penelitian ini, cangkang rajungan sebagai limbah dari industri pengolahan hasil laut dimanfaatkan sebagai kitosan. Pada uji kelarutan, edible film yang dihasilkan memiliki kelarutan lebih dari 50%, hasil ini menandakan bahwa edible film kitosan-karagenan dengan pemlastis gliserol ini baik untuk dikonsumsi. Kitosan dari cangkang rajungan yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini memiliki sifat fisik berwarna putih sedikit kekuningan berbentuk butiran halus 100mesh dan memiliki Derajat Deasetilasi sebesar 61,24%. Edible film yang memenuhi karakteristik edible film dalam Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) 1975 adalah pada formulisi kitosan-karagenan 0,2:1,8 dan 0,4:1,6. Pupuk kalium silika merupakan unsur yang mengandung unsur Silika (Si) dan Kalium (K), kedua unsur ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh tanaman. Misalnya manfaat silika yaitu untuk meningkatkan oksidasi akar tanaman, meningkatkan aktivitas enzim yang terlibat dalam fotosintesis, dan meningkatkan ketebalan dinding sel sebagai proteksi hama. Sedangkan manfaat dari kalium untuk tanaman diantaranya yaitu, membentuk dan mengangkut karbohidrat, sebagai katalisator dalam pembentukan protein, meningkatakan kadar karbohidrat dan gula dalam buah, dan meningkatkan kualitas buah karena bentuk, kadar, dan warna yang lebih baik. Untuk mengetahui komposisi produk pupuk kalium silika yang dibuat dengan menggunakan bahan baku abu daun bambu dengan pereaksi KOH. Variabel peubahnya adalah konsentrasi KOH sebesar 0,5;1;1,5;2 dan 2,5N dan konsentrasi pengadukam sebesar 100,125,150,175, dan 200rpm selama 120menit dengan berat 30gram pada suhu 800C. Tumbuhan ini menyebar di dataran rendah hingga daerah perbukitan, tinggi pohon mencapai 25 meter, daunnya sangat besar dan berbentuk bulat dengan ujung runcing. Tempurung biji kepayang berwarna cokelat dengan garis-garis menonjol dan melingkar indah. Tempurung kluwak mengandung selulosa yang cukup tinggi yaitu sebesar 70,52%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menurunkan kadar logam berat Cu dengan tempurung kluwak yang bertindak sebagai adsorben. Tempurung kluwak diaktivasi dengan menggunakan Asam Klorida (HCl) dengan variasi variabel konsentrasi Asam Klorida dan waktu pengontakan terhadap Cu. Variabel konsentrasi Asam Klorida yang digunakan yaitu 0,4 M, 0,6 M, 0,8 M, 1 M, 1,2 M 250 ml dan variabel waktu pengontkana Cu yaitu 25 menit, 35 menit, 50 menit, 65 menit, 80 menit. Theoretical analysis of the available results of studies of professional qualities of firefighter-rescuers, and their skills. \u0000Findings. The conditions of activity of rescuers are described. The concepts «professionally important skills of firefighter-rescuers» and «professionally important abilities of firefighter-rescuers» are considered, their fundamental difference is determined. It was revealed that the absence or insufficient development of professionally important qualities reduce the effectiveness of professional activities of rescuers. The professionally important qualities of specialists of extreme profile are described and structured into separate groups, their role in emergency response is determined. \u0000Application field of research. The purpose of the article is to develop a model, structure and principles for the implementation of integrated protection of the organizations which have to be transferred for working under war conditions. \u0000Methods. General scientific research methods are used: induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, comparison and generalization, analogy. \u0000Findings. A procedure was developed for implementing integrated protection in organizations that continue to work in wartime; a hierarchical model of the protection system was proposed, the principles of the implementation of protective measures were formulated. \u0000Application field of research.
