The boat-tail drag can significantly affect the performance of overall propulsion system in rockets and missiles. These computations show a very complex regime when the base region flow connects with the flow from the nozzle and the ambient air, with strong adverse pressure gradients and shock induced separations in the flow field. Computations have been carried out at transonic Mach number 0.9 with nozzle pressure ratio (NPR) of 4. The Shear Stress Transport (SST) turbulence model has been used in calculations to study the flow difference in pressure and velocity contours as it provides more accurate results with the data obtained from experiments. Nevertheless, the boat tail surface pressure coefficient for a straight cylinder and a tapered cylinder (or boat tail) has been plotted and analyzed. The boat tail configuration model demonstrated a better performance in terms of drag experienced by the system.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124731259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As of late, OSNs have seen critical development and accepted much consideration in exploration. These Networks have consistently been a significant part of daily life; however, since an ever-increasing number of individuals are associated with the internet, their online partners satisfy an undeniably significant job. Users use online applications where they end up sharing lots of information including personal data. Hence this data including huge information is money-making for data owners and they share data with third parties like advertisers who are ethical users. This data also consists of personal data. As data can be used for unethical purposes by unauthorized users which leads to different attacks and illegal use of data and personal information. It is fundamental to first anonymize users’ data before imparting it to any of the third parties like advisers. Anonymization preserves data privacy. However, anonymization prompts data loss, which by implication influences the data utility. Balancing data privacy and utility of information is an open research issue. Different clustering algorithms can be applied for anonymizing social network data. Comparison of clustering algorithms leads to the best algorithm to provide k-anonymity to social media networks.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121088244","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Parameters are modified through machine learning algorithms while hyperparameters are the parameters that are adjusted manually to achieve the desired accuracy and increase efficiency. In neural networks, weights are parameters while hyper-parameters include layer size, momentum, learning rate, acti-vation function family, weight initialization and normalization scheme for input data. Multi-layer feed-forward Backpropagation neural network (BPN) has been used to solve a variety of classification problems as it can map “any” input-output mapping and classify linearly inseparable data. The research work presented in this paper gives a detailed description of BPN and explains various hyper-mutates for BPN. Downstream tasks like finding similarity is sensitive to these relationships. From PubMed abstracts, words are extracted. “Nearest neighbor” words are identified as candidate words using Word2Vec, Glove and FastText. Conceptnet is a popular knowledge graph using which we find relationship between these words. Similarity for each word pair is calculated. Random Effects Model (REM) is applied to study this relationship strata using the similarity scores. In Asia, gas geysers are frequently used by the lower and middle class families for instant water heating. Gas geysers burn fossil fuels that cause harmful and poisonous emissions, risking lives and environment. This paper illustrates a low-cost and innovative gas geyser design that aims to reduce carbon-monoxide and carbon-dioxide emissions. A carbon-monoxide sensor is attached in the heat exchanger of the gas geyser. As a result of incomplete combustion, if carbon-monoxide gas is detected, the gas supply will be modulated to a lower amount, simultaneously increasing oxygen for complete combustion. The exhaust duct is fitted with an activated charcoal filter. Carbon-dioxide and carbon-monoxide can be adsorbed by the filter. Additionally, another carbon-monoxide sensor is placed at the end of the duct. If carbon-monoxide gas is detected there, then the gas geyser will shut down completely.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117194527","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And for decades together students and parents have been optimistically reciprocating to this modus operandi of HEIs of focusing on technical education. However, with the dawn of Industry 4.0, the expectations of Industry from their employees have also undergone a noticeable transformation. They now expect their employees to be holistically knowledgeable and skilled to handle jobs and situational challenges that come along with their job profile. On the other hand, HEIs in India have been skilling students majorly on technical or domain expertise or (we researchers name it) as Hard Skills and have fallen short in skilling them on the Soft Skills/Intelligence. However, unfortunately this area of skilling students on the Soft Intelligence has been overlooked by HEIs viz-a viz developing their technical competence or Hard Skills. This is because the teachers of HEIs have no orientation whatsoever in the nitty gritties of Soft Skills/ Intelligence in one's personal and professional development. Until and Unless the teachers are skilled on Soft Skills/ Intelligence they will not be equipped to skill students on Soft Skills and thereby cater to their holistic development. The paper proposes to investigate the impact of a combination of Soft Skills alongside Hard Skills (SOHA) on performance of teachers of HEIs.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124899439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the one hand, there is an insufficient knowledge of the significant number of losses, and on the other side, there is insufficient information about the benefits of employing simple postharvest and conservation measures. Many countries waste a considerable amount of agricultural production. The introduction of proper postharvest technology could aid in the reduction of food waste. It also contributes to the increase of product quality, resulting in a high market price. Drying and storing freshly harvested cereals, fruits, and vegetables is the most common method of preserving them. Since ancient times, people have dried the commodities in the open sun; nevertheless, it is not without disadvantages, such as a high reliance on climatic conditions, sluggish drying rates, and the possibility of contamination, and so on. When employing mechanical dryers, these issues can be avoided; nevertheless, they consume a lot of energy. Simple solar-powered drying, in addition to mechanical treatments, can reduce the moisture content of vegies and fruits, allowing them to be stored for an extended period. Such a basic method has enormous promise, especially in regions where industrial preservation technologies are unavailable or inapplicable. The key objective is to run the entire system on clean and efficient energy like solar energy. The excess solar charge stored in the battery can be converted into AC to operate loads like lighting a bulb, especially in rural areas.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123613726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because the request for liver transplantation far outnumbers the total of dead donor organs, organ allocation has become critical. Using the medical data available from the transplant patients, it is possible to analyze the key factors accountable for the continued existence of liver transplant patients and hence predict the survival. Traditionally such prediction scores were calculated using regression model. However in the last few decades many changes have taken place due to the usage of Electronic Health records which stores the medical history of patients. This resulted in the use of AI techniques to predict the endurance of liver transplantation by detection of hidden patterns within large datasets. This report offers a systematic review of studies that used AI techniques to predict transplant survival and comparison to already existing models like Survival Outcome following Liver Transplant -SOFT Score, Model for End Stage Liver Disease -MELD Score, Balance of Risk Model -BAR Score and Donor Risk Index -DRI Score. Among all the AI Techniques used, the ANN model outperforms all other existing model with AUROC=0.90 and better exactness on different datasets.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129972158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
