The Complete Blood Cell (CBC)count is used to diagnose the health of a particular person. Proper identification of blood components is the major factor for various uncertainties and health issues in the human body. This paper deals with the analysis of different blood cells using the You Only Look Once (YOLO) framework and has been trained with a dataset of blood smear images taken from BCCD (Blood Cell Count and Detection). Diseases such as dengue, bone marrow disorder, thyroid condition, iron deficiency require blood cell count for the diagnosis. Ordinary methods used in the hospital laboratories require counting of blood cells manually using devices. This led to imprecise outcomes which were strenuous, slow and laborious. The proposed method focuses on obtaining better accuracy with YOLOv5 as compared to previous versions of YOLO models which is based on automatic detection, segmentation and count of each blood cell from blood smear images. Also, Real time implementation can take place and immediately results can be sent for further diagnosis of patient. The main objective of this paper is to identify three major categories of blood cells and improved accuracy is achieved for detection and segmentation of blood cells. The outcome of the experiment on YOLO v5s concludes that highest mAP was observed for 8 batches,75 epochs with mAP value as 93%.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125439356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposes a deep learning and swarm intelligence based approach in the automotive domain to detect objects and subsequently avoid collisions. By combining them, improvement can be achieved in the speed and accuracy of self-driving cars to avoid longitudinal collisions. Our proposed approach uses a highly accurate and well-suited deep learning technique for object detection to detect objects in real-time using algorithms and methods such as Mask Region-Based Convolutional Neural Networks (Mask R-CNN) and different versions of You Only Look Once (YOLO). Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used to optimize and predict the parameters (velocity and acceleration) required for the self driving car to avoid colliding with the detected object.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"224 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124470745","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The third dimension of inclusive and human centric growth, brought in by Society 5.0 is also put into light. The main thrust of this paper is underscoring the need and imperative nature, of striking a balance between technological advances, human factors and inclusiveness and ecological balance. This balance, termed as “Mahat”, is embodied in the proposed “Enhanced version of Industry 5.0”. While this version is global in nature, the paper also illustrates how critical it is especially for India vis-a-vis agrarian nature and young age of India with demographic dividend. Bioeconomy is bound to complement multitude of technological advances as well as inclusive growth. Theoretical and practical view on the concept of bioeconomy is elucidated. Having identified the limitations, the paper proposes how bioeconomy will play a pivotal role in the global and especially Indian context and presents many policy level suggestions to account for bioeconomy gaining prominence in balancing the proverbial 3 Ps viz. People, Planet and Profits, in a sustainable manner.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127695089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Previously, Home automation research scope was limited to either remote controlled systems or voice operated commands-based systems or virtual assistant-based systems. The problem with these systems was they were not self-adapting systems nor emotion-based mood enhancing systems. Our Proposed system combines real-world data for emotion awareness, sensing, learning, and decision-making. The proposed system is milestone in Smart home journey because, it is enhancing the systems security, efficiency and user experience. Thus, we present a cognitive intelligent home automation system featuring computer vision, environmental sensing, data processing, learning, and adaptation capabilities. Face recognition-based door access control used in the proposed system allows access only to authorized user. Further, Convolutional Neural Network and support vector machine algorithm-based emotion detection is implemented. The system recognizes emotions on the user's face and enhances user experience by controlling the ambient light as per the mood/emotion of the user. To implement system, we have used the methodology with different modes of operations such as privileged mode, non-privileged mode, intelligent mode, manual mode. We are proposing the “sensovisual” term in this paper which is combination of the sensor and visual method for smart home automation.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128122499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the physical benefit of SOM is it gives aggregate stability which results in reduce crusting, improves water holding capacity, improves water filtration capacity and pour space and air distribution by increasing SOM content. Soil moisture tension is the density of water holding capacity. The different types soil analysis techniques are available, but traditional methods are laborious time consuming as well as do not guaranteed accuracy of information in short window of time needed during the crop growing seasons. So there is need to seek for easier and proper methods of analyzing soil that are simple, precise, quick and economical in labs or/and in field. Researchers have studied the estimation of various methods for rapid quantification and monitoring of some surface soil properties such as SOM and SMC. The purpose of this work is to explore the possibilities and limitations of traditional and new techniques for soil analysis. Therefore, the review has been carried out for the determination of SOM and SMC using image processing.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132354393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Water is the most common milk adulterant. Adulterated milk can impair the functioning of various organs of the body, causing heart problems, cancer, and in extreme cases, even death. Monitoring of milk quality is necessary for sustaining human health. To overcome this problem, a non-destructive system is proposed that detects milk purity using NIR Spectroscopy and machine learning. Dataset is created from cows and buffalos milk samples that are adulterated with varying water quantities. This dataset is used to determine if the sample is buffalo's milk or cow's milk using KNN. The acquired data is used to train model which predicts the sample purity using linear regression. Classification is done according to level of adulteration. This paper proposes a non-destructive technique to predict purity of unknown milk sample.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134314109","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Social media analysis and text mining are all about collecting the most valuable data and drawing actionable conclusions. Text mining also referred to as data mining it is which contains various nodes in the form of data which is often linked together to form a pattern. High-quality information is typically derived through the devising of patterns and trends through means such as statistical pattern learning. In this study we have analyzed and mounted social media data from Twitter, new articles, and Reddit which suggest that domestic abuse is acting as an opportunistic infection, flourishing in the condition created by the pandemic. The computing tweet sentiments of domestic violence amongst various social media platforms is a major factor of concern. We have used several topic modeling techniques such as Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) uses a bag of words model, Hierarchical Dirichlet Process (HDP) is a nonparametric Bayesian model for clustering problems, and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) is a generative probabilistic model for collections of discrete data. Therefore, in this project, we tend to propose a deeper insight into the rise in domestic violence on social media and to provide a holistic approach to tackle this situation.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"31 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128913290","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pest attacks to crops are a major concern in these countries. The symptoms of pest infestation can appear on various parts of the crop such as leaves, stem, roots, etc. This paper focuses on comparing the different Convolutional Neural Network models to detect pest infestation. The images of crop leaves (both diseased and healthy) have been considered). Various crops such as potato, grapes, cherry, bell peppers, etc. with diseases such as Bell pepper - Bacterial spot, Cherry - Powdery Mildew, Potato - Early Blight, etc. have been considered to arrive at an unbiased conclusion. For each model different optimizers such as Stochastic Gradient Descent, ADAM, etc have been implemented. Batch normalization has been applied to each of the models. Among the CNN architectures, Alexnet, ResNet-50, Inception V3, and VGG-16, ResNet-50 gives a higher accuracy for most of the plants ranging between 95.99% for grapes, 99.34% for both potato and bell pepper. Inception V3 also yielded good results for a few plants, with accuracies ranging between 99% for strawberry and 99.75% for cherry. These models with the aforementioned parameters have been implemented for a low computationally efficient device.","PeriodicalId":154406,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Pune Section International Conference (PuneCon)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121544723","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
