Each package is self-contained and complies with the highest test level specified in each standard. Significant cost savings can be made when testing to more than one standard as many of the items are common to all test packages. The article looks at the variety of RF test methods and parameters that are called up in the vehicle manufacturers' requirements, and shows how a test system can be put together using Schaffner's Profline 5000 systems to carry out just those tests that are needed, and to create reports in just the format asked for.","PeriodicalId":153945,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. When the operating frequency is high, the full wave analysis is required. However, mutual coupling can be ignored for the majority of arrays. Therefore, the integrated analysis is not always necessary. In this paper, the full wave analysis is taken on the 2/spl times/2 subarray module and the loaded feed network separately. The CAD software tool is used in conjunction with the knowledge of basic array theory and physical insight of impedance matching through the Smith chart. An example of designing a Ku band compact microstrip array antenna is given to illustrate the above approach. The size in one dimension is reduced by a factor of 1.5 compared to the normal design. The experimental results agree with those of the theoretical prediction showing that there is no need for further experimental iteration.","PeriodicalId":153945,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. The PML absorbing boundary condition and the infinitesimally small feeding gap have been applied to calculate the input impedance of a thin-wire square-loop antenna. That is, it belongs to the unbalanced power-supply system that uses the rails and earth as return conductor. Near the point of earth that current enters into the rails, it causes the earth potential to rise, and it cause dangerous impact or interference impact on the earthed telecommunication equipment and lines by the way of earth resistance coupling. Earth is assumed to be a homogeneous medium with an infinite plane in the existing theoretical calculation of earth potential. However, most of geology in nature where railway passes belongs to irregular nonhomogeneous medium. It raises a problem for theoretically calculating the earth potential. Furthermore, during the processes of survey and design of the electrified railway in the past, many technicians cited the earth resistivity that can be used for calculating mutual inductance coefficient to the formulas of earth potential. This method is wrong for calculating the earth potential in the nonhomogeneous medium. It may cause multiple error for calculating the earth potential and slip in adopting the protective measures for the earth potential. In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the interference sources and impact ways, and presents a new method for solving the problem of calculating the earth potential in the nonhomogeneous medium.","PeriodicalId":153945,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings. The dipole model is usually taken for its numerical computation. The integral with integrand of double Bessel function is simplified to the integral of single Bessel function and is computed with the Hankel transformation. In this paper. A method of finding the zero points and dividing the intervals is used to compute the integral of double Bessel function. Taking different integral parameters, the integral results of double Bessel function are compared with those of single Bessel function with Hankel transformation. Therefore, in order to compute interference surplus, especially the results of electric field, it is necessary to use specific border conditions. That is to say, using the given border conditions and natural border conditions can decide the constants in general outcomes of differential equations, then turning them into usable specific results.
