Abstract

The use of a constant modulus algorithm (CMA) adaptive antenna array at the base-station site to suppress interference and increase the user capacity of a CDMA cellular system is proposed. The improvement in performance is quantified by comparison with the omnidirectional antenna system using realistic simulation.
