This paper tried to solve disadvantage of lack of semantic information of keyword, and designed a user profiles modeling method based on the category knowledge base, combining the keywords and the ontology concepts. In the model the user profiles consist of short-term interest and long-term interest, and two different mechanisms of establishing and updating were adopted for these two kinds of interest. At last, the effectiveness of the method is verified through the experiment. It shows that this model can accurately reflect the characteristics of the user’s interest and improve the efficiency of information retrieval.","PeriodicalId":153560,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Symposium on Intelligent Ubiquitous Computing and Education","volume":"18 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123271183","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our study shows that self-adaptation genetic algorithm performance is much better than conventional genetic algorithm. An empirical evaluation on the effectiveness of genetic algorithm and self-adaptation genetic algorithm for searching the most effective strategies in the heuristic decision making framework are discussed in this paper.","PeriodicalId":153560,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Symposium on Intelligent Ubiquitous Computing and Education","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127525940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper first introduced the principle of BP neural network. For the analysis of the employment problem of graduates, we adopt the multi-factor fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of the fuzzy mathematics, which quantified the various data of the student information, and then set up a BP neural network with the Matlab software. Through the test, the error between the Predictive value and the actual value is very small. So this network can be used for the analysis of the employment problem of graduates.","PeriodicalId":153560,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Symposium on Intelligent Ubiquitous Computing and Education","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121997997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, we analyze the common refrigeration system faults and their dominant symptoms. Next, an FDD strategy for the refrigeration system is proposed which adopts a RBF network to model the causation of symptoms and faults. Gaussian functions are selected as the basis functions of the hidden layer neurons. The parameters of the Gaussian functions and the weights of the network are ob-tained by using a novel network training method which com-bines Genetic Algorithm (GA) and psudo-inverse matrix algorithm. Finally, a real-time FDD program in C language based on the proposed strategy is developed. The FDD program is tested with the refrigeration system installed in a laboratory and successfully identifies each of the six faults artificially in-troduced at the laboratory.","PeriodicalId":153560,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Symposium on Intelligent Ubiquitous Computing and Education","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125126751","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To solve the above problems, cognitive radio (CR) is applied to the system. With the energy detection algorithms used in the spectrum sensing of various tunnels under mines, the spectrum sensing method adaptive to tunnel environment is put forward. The detection probability of Rayleigh Channel and Rician Channel is analyzed, and the feedback joint detection algorithm based on the tunnel environment is put forward. The simulation shows that the total detection probability of system obviously rises with the method of adaptive through feedback information to adjust the node weight.","PeriodicalId":153560,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Symposium on Intelligent Ubiquitous Computing and Education","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132837535","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
