We can monitor human activities by the built-in sensors of the smartphone, and extract useful information for human services, such as human health, life log or assistance tips. In fact, this is a very low cost and efficient method. In previous research we have classified the walking style by Decision Tree. In order to recognize the activities more precisely and comprehensively, in this paper we used Decision Tree and SVM to learn the collected data on the smartphone, meanwhile considering the energy-efficiency problem around it.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127883116","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, these schemes are either inefficient or insecure under some circumstances. In 2015, Ren et al. Proposed an efficient mutual verifiable PDP (MV-PDP) scheme with stateless property. In this article, we will show that their scheme cannot provide data integrity checking by presenting a universal forgery attack on the verification procedure. In addition, an improvement is proposed to resist this attack. Under the computational Diffie-Hellman (CDH) and discrete logarithm (DL) assumptions, we formally prove that the improved PDP scheme is secure against forgery attacks while achieving better performance than Ren et al.'s scheme.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116634236","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the WSN system, all sensor nodes are responsible for sensing the interested events and transmitting the related information back to the sink node. The sink node acts like the brain of the whole WSN system for processing the collected data and giving control commands. The position of the sink node directly affects the data transmission efficiency and the distance from the terminal sensor node to the sink node. Thus, choosing the correct place to place the sink node in the whole network is a delicate work. In this paper, we propose a sink node placement method by proposing a newly designed object function and utilizing Cat Swarm Optimization (CSO) to find out the near best location for placing the sink node. The simulation results indicate that our proposed method presents good performance compared with the conventional Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm in reducing the overall energy consumption and prolongs the lifetime of network in an efficient way.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116694121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The threshold value not only for the binarization of the depth image but also for the others except for the circularity was chosen automatically. Moreover, the value of the background is not even value but some depth value. In my previous research, the background image was simple so that the foreground area could be easily extracted as the binary image from the depth image by the threshold value chosen automatically. The whole human silhouette is difficult to be get with the uneven background. This problem can be overcome by subtraction between the two depth information in the current image and the background image.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114680773","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The first step of the proposed algorithm is to apply moving average filter and Butterworth low-pass filter to partly eliminate the effect of fluctuation in short-term signal. Then one can make use of SRC and WPT with DTT to accurately classify and increase classification performance. Sparse representation based classification has been widely used for music genre classification via the primal-dual algorithm for linear programming to search the most compact representation of the signal in the digital domain. To investigate its performance, the proposed method is validated by comparison with various discrete cosine transform types and classification methods. Various experimental results carried out one the ISMIR 2004 Genre dataset show that the proposed method can achieve higher classification accuracy than other music genre classification methods with the same experimental setup.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"2012 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114707862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

AMBs are the typical electromagnetic products, which provide stable suspension for rotors. AMBs are used in a wide range of applications such as energy storage, high-speed-turbine applications, blood pumps, mixers, etc. AMBs can levitate rotor without mechanical contact, friction and lubrication. The AMBs employed in this paper have two four-pole bearings, whose distances can be controlled by using the current signal from the controller. The magnetic forces are generated by feedback loop control. The designation of PID-surface SMC reduces the chattering phenomenon in conventional SMC. The simulation results prove the high quality of the proposed control approach.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130407155","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the detection and prediction of incipient faults in power transformers using Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA), the problem of missing values is influential and has resulted in inconclusive decision-making. Previous methods used for handling missing data (e.g., Deleting cases with incomplete information or substituting the missing values with estimated mean scores), although simple to implement, are problematic because those methods may result in biased data models. Fortunately, recent advances in theoretical and computational statistics have led to more feasible techniques to address the missing data problem.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"144 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116087368","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
