Effect of Information System Co-construction Policy on Cultural Propaganda Oriented Government Website - The National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra as a Case Study

Abstract

The main purpose of information system consolidation is to avoid repetitive system development and to lighten the heavy burden of government financial expenditure so that resources can be shared and the overall operating costs can be reduced. This study takes the cultural propaganda oriented government website of the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra as an example to explore the problems faced in the process of introducing information systems as well as their solutions. Information system consolidation can actually solve the problems of repetitive system development and inadequate resources sharing.
