The dynamic learning ratio can be calculated to minimize the scale factor and shift factor of wavelet function and the variation of net weights, and the algorithm improve the stability and the convergence of wavelet neural network. It was applied to build the dynamical model of autonomous underwater vehicles, and the residuals are generated by comparing the outputs of the dynamical model with the real state values in the condition of thruster fault. Fault detection rules are distilled by residual analysis to execute thruster fault diagnosis. The results of simulation prove the effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":153175,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Modeling and Simulation","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-01-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117019905","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, while most SOM models pursue their results as accurately as possible, they ignore the importance of understanding and explanation. This paper first finds the optimal solution for the number of SOM clusters by using the technique of particle swarm optimization (PSO) and then generates clustering rules by extracting implicit knowledge from a one-dimensional SOM neural architecture. The experimental results show that rules extracted by our method produce an improvement in performance compared with other rule extraction models. Our proposed approach is able to equip the self-organizing map with an explanatory capability through the use of rules.","PeriodicalId":153175,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Modeling and Simulation","volume":"15 1 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-01-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116399812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of the low redundancy, few lossless compression methods have been applied in the research. Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW) coding is a well-known lossless compression algorithm that is simple and does not require prior analysis of the source or send extra information to the decoder. In this paper, we propose a high-capacity data-hiding LZW (HCDH-LZW) method that hides data in LZW compression codes reversibly by shrinking the symbol length. The hiding scheme increases capacity for the number of symbols available to hide secrets but also the capacity of each symbol. Experimental results demonstrate the high embedding capacity of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":153175,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Modeling and Simulation","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-01-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116462717","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The radiant heating system was installed in a detached house in the suburbs of Harbin (126°46′E, 45°45′N). The unit model of each component was given. The performance and operation characteristics of the system were analyzed by simulation. The simulation results show that the system can meet the heating requirements of detached houses in severe cold areas. The heat pump had a relatively higher average COP 4.04. At the same time, the solar energy supplied 44.38% of the total heating output, which greatly saved electricity and raised the heating COP of system. By this method, the ground loads can be balanced through solar seasonal thermal storage as well as the soil temperature can be raised. It should be emphasized that the radiant floor plays an important role in the system.","PeriodicalId":153175,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Modeling and Simulation","volume":"81 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-01-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123214608","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There has been work on the definition of workflow that allows non-expert entering knowledge on the organization process to be used in planning and scheduling. Since the definition of workflow is usually static and rigid, it is difficult to represent the process branches and constraints. Furthermore, workflow complexity may grow exponentially if all the process branches are compiled into the definition beforehand. In order to represent the branches and reduce the complexity, an extended workflow model is proposed in this paper. This model manages process branches in a dynamic way and represents various constraints, including temporal and logical constrains between activities in different branches. We also propose a graphic modeling tool. It helps users to modeling and acquiring knowledge conveniently.","PeriodicalId":153175,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Modeling and Simulation","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-01-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123639380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Soft Frequency Reuse (SFR) scheme, one of the most promising inter-cell interference coordination (ICIC) schemes, has been introduced in LTE-Advanced networks. In this paper, We develop an analytical queueing model for the SFR scheme taking into account the features of SFR scheme and its impact on system performance firstly. Then, we improve the iterative algorithm called successive over-relaxation (SOR) to solve the set of linear equations and get the steady state probability distribution. Finally, simulation and performance analysis shows that maximum number of resource that cell-edge users can use and the number of cell-edge users correlate with the performance of SFR scheme.","PeriodicalId":153175,"journal":{"name":"2010 Second International Conference on Computer Modeling and Simulation","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-01-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126164178","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
