It has brought far-reaching changes in all aspects of our lives. The present study aims to evaluate the perception & acceptance of e-learning among dental students in Telangana state. Methods: The present cross-sectional study is based on a questionnaire that was designed and delivered to dental students in their clinical year third year( final year dental undergraduate students and internship students). The estimated sample size (n = 681) is derived from the Raosoft sample size calculator for this study. The students responded to each statement by using 4 points Likert scale. Results: When asked to rate their online learning experience (in comparison to traditional classes) out of 5, 41.6% rated it a 3/5. Even though 44.2% of students said they found online learning user-friendly, most students (50.4%) opted for traditional learning. Conclusion: Although online teaching was a hopeful & fast expanding endeavour in the pandemic situation, it is a relatively new concept of the hour that may take time for both the students and the teaching staff to adapt themselves. Addressing challenges in near future e-learning should be considered a part of the curriculum to improve the technological knowledge for both students and teachers.","PeriodicalId":15222,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research","volume":"12 1","pages":"1337-1342"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69629859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Generic drugs are those, sold without a brand name as they are not protected by trademark registration whereas branded have a specific name provided by the manufacturer. Hence, generics are cheaper version of brands with a profound bioequivalence profile. Conventional medicinal prospectus in country like India,does not attend to the essential feature of rational or generic prescription writing.One of the major reasons is the escalation of branded generics, that are sold at amounts adjacent to the innovator brands. This adds to the cost of pharmaceuticals in the country year by year. Time and again the consequence of generic prescribing has been emphasized toreduce the cost of drugs and in turn enhance the availability, of at least the essential drugs in all most all health care centers. Hence, it is vital to figure out the fundamental pharmaceutical concepts about branded, branded generic and generic drugs which impart a greater effect on patients pocket and affect stakeholders in the field of health care. This review article will help in exploring and understanding these issuesin a better way toallocateconversantpronouncement making for the profit of patients and society equally. Even though the countries across the globe are fronting the COVID-19 pandemic presently, sustaining the supply of drugs and pharmaceutical products is of course ultimate to conceal the instant therapeutic rejoinder. In this regard, the role of Pharma industry in India, is highly pivotal to not only encounter its national necessity but also correspondingly be imperative for the world. This article will also highlight the plausible significances of COVID-19 on the global pharma market and the important role to be played by Indian pharma market to contribute the global retort to this pandemic.","PeriodicalId":15222,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research","volume":"12 1","pages":"227-238"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69631105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since its heightened sympathetic state these patients are more prone for malignant arrhythmias. The central nervous system involvement of MERS-CoV is mostly caused by the autoimmune reaction against viral antigens rather than viral infection itself. Although coronaviruses can infect the autonomic center in the brainstem, potentially contributing to cardiovascular and respiratory failure, the direct effect of SARS-CoV2 on the autonomic nervous system is not well known yet. The purpose of this review is to emphasise the involvement of autonomic nervous system (ANS) which is an integral part of our human body to adapt for the stressful environment like COVID 19 infection.","PeriodicalId":15222,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research","volume":"12 1","pages":"548-553"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69630912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many countries executed numerous measures to overcome the adverse impact of this crisis. One of a strategic widely executed tool to enhance the resilience of economy and community to the COVID-19 pandemic is social protection programs. The implementation of such programs becomes vital in poor countries. In poor regions such as Sub-Saharan Africa social protection could play an important role to support the vulnerable groups to overcome the adverse impacts of this crisis. This study aims to investigate how the COVID-19 Pandemic rebuilds Social Protection in Sub-Saharan Countries which are mostly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as to provide learned lessons and policy implications. This study was conducted by searching through Google Scholar, WoS and some international Institutions websites such as World Bank, International Labor Organization and World Health Organization. The findings showed that most SubSaharan African countries executed both new social programs and updated earlier existing ones to respond to adverse impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some countries executed contributory programs, which could not be relied upon during the COVID-19 pandemic as they typically covered only formal sector. Consequently, some recommendations were drawn for the region policy and decision makers for implementing more effective social protection in fighting future pandemics.","PeriodicalId":15222,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research","volume":"12 1","pages":"1220-1234"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69629742","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
