Varactor diodes are used as tuning elements. Filter is tunable around 2500 MHz covering approximately the band from 2.2 to 2.9 GHz. Simple design procedure, low insertion loss and small filter size are the main advantages of the proposed filter. Insertion loss changes between −2.79 to −2.26 dB and filter size is $2mathrm{x}2$ cm2.","PeriodicalId":152036,"journal":{"name":"2019 Fifth International Electromagnetic Compatibility Conference (EMC Turkiye)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125178267","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This work analyzes the shielding effectiveness (SE) of metal wire meshes with different geometries. When compared to the other shielding materials, advantages of using wire meshes are that they provide physical ease of use due to their lightweight, have low price and market accessibility. To this end, initially importance of shielding in various areas (TEMPEST, EMC, and health etc.) will be discussed. Then materials' details and results of SE measurements of four wire meshes will be provided. Later, an experimental setup which applies a chosen wire mesh on a wall of a room will be described. Finally, measurement results will be presented.","PeriodicalId":152036,"journal":{"name":"2019 Fifth International Electromagnetic Compatibility Conference (EMC Turkiye)","volume":"62 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129561978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Preliminary studies on this antenna design are made at 4.65 GHz resonance frequency by utilizing kapton polyimide substrate and silver material in CST simulation environment. In addition to the design work, the antennas are fabricated at different sintering temperatures and parameters such as return loss and bandwidth are measured. The effects are analyzed in light of the SEM images of the fabricated antennas. The measurement results of fabricated antennas demonstrate that, as the temperature increases the resonance frequency is also increased.","PeriodicalId":152036,"journal":{"name":"2019 Fifth International Electromagnetic Compatibility Conference (EMC Turkiye)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123953559","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using the Radon transform interpretation of the radiation integrals, the PO integral is evaluated exactly on the surface of the quadratic triangle using appropriate order Gauss-Legendre quadrature rule (GLQR) and the EEC integral is evaluated in closed-from on the edge of the quadratic triangle. A numerical example that shows the accuracy of the proposed scheme is presented.","PeriodicalId":152036,"journal":{"name":"2019 Fifth International Electromagnetic Compatibility Conference (EMC Turkiye)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115119685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the dispersive nature of artificially constructed metamaterials, permittivity and/or permeability can be negative at a certain band of frequency. Since the propagation constant has imaginary values in lossless SNG media, electromagnetic waves decay in these media and reflect at the surface. When the permittivity and permeability values are both negative, propagating waves are supported and impedance matching between a double negative (DNG) medium and air can be achieved. For this reason, single negative (SNG) materials can be used in electromagnetic shielding applications and DNG materials for realization of electromagnetic (EM) absorbers. Theoretical analysis of metamaterial (MTM) based electromagnetic absorbers and shields are investigated using S- parameter calculations, and properties are presented as a function of layer compositions and different dispersion parameters of medium permittivity and permeability values. The characteristics of EM absorber/shields are also observed when metamaterial layers are stacked on a metal plate.","PeriodicalId":152036,"journal":{"name":"2019 Fifth International Electromagnetic Compatibility Conference (EMC Turkiye)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121702565","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First the synthetic scattering field data is obtained by the solution of the direct problem through the conventional surface integral equations. Then the same surface integral equations together with the data equation are solved in an iterative fashion to reconstruct the surface variation. In the numerical implementation, the so called ill-posed inverse problem is regularized in the sense of Tikhonov. Preliminary numerical results show that the method is effective and promising.","PeriodicalId":152036,"journal":{"name":"2019 Fifth International Electromagnetic Compatibility Conference (EMC Turkiye)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116859147","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
