The primary lung cancer can grow locally or cause metastasis in other tissues [4]. The most frequent lung cancers is Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) that consist of 80% of all kinds of lung cancer [5-7]. Despite of conventional therapies and novel progressed techniques in diagnosis and therapy, breast cancer still a devastating disease worldwide, therefore it has provided an incentive for searching of new more effective and with less side effect therapeutics. The purpose of cancer therapy is to destroy malignant cells without causing destruction of normal cells. There are many supplementations available out there including antioxidant which is used by approximately 22-83% cancer patients [1-3]. This group of antioxidant includes N-acetylcysteine, glutathione, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, beta carotene, melatonin, and many others. Yagyuu","doi":"10.4172/1948-5956.1000536","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4172/1948-5956.1000536","url":null,"abstract":"Tumor budding, defined as the presence of single cancer cells or small clusters of fewer than five cells at the tumor invasive front, has been reported to be an independent prognostic factor for several cancers together with margin status, depth of invasion, lymph vascular invasion, and lymph node metastasis. Distant metastasis and poor prognosis were significantly more common in the higher budding group. In this short review, we focused on the studies related to tumor budding in several cancers including oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC) and showed the association among the intensity of tumor budding, risk of lymph node metastasis, and poor prognosis in OSCC is strongly supported by many studies.
