Five computation friendly machine learning algorithms were used to create multiclass classification models to predict the fetus health status from secondary CTG dataset containing normal, suspected and pathologic data available at University California Irvine Machine Learning Repository. Furthermore, a comparative analysis among the built models was executed. According to the comparative analysis, the best model to automatically detect fetal health was the extreme gradient boosting algorithm-based model with an accuracy of 96.7% and an F1-Score of 0.963 in the pathologic class. This finding thus has the potential to diagnose fetal heart conditions unsupervised, and more efficiently and effectively.\u0000J. Bangladesh Acad. (B. campestris, B. juncea, and B. napus) have been investigated in this study for morpho-cytotaxonomical evaluation. The three Brassica species displayed morphologically differences in the case of plant heights, size and the shape of upper and basal leaves, types of inflorescence and color of seeds, etc. After analyzing the staining properties of heterochromatins (nature and amount) in the interphase nuclei, it was unveiled that B. juncea had a simple chromocenter type of interphase nuclei and might be perceived as the most evolved one among the three species of Brassica. Moreover, the phylogenetic relationship derived from the mean values of morphological traits also manifested the distinct position of B. juncea than the other two studied species of Brassica. Therefore, the findings obtained in this study may be utilized as a feasible implementation of biosystematics for the identification and proper characterization of the three species of Brassica L.\u0000J. Usually, a system of nonlinear algebraic equations arises within the unfamiliar coefficients in several harmonics terms and the frequency of the forcing term. A numerical technique has been applied to handle those nonlinear algebraic equations in the classical harmonic balance method. In our study, a system of linear algebraic equations is calculated with the aid of a single nonlinear one. The solutions attained by the suggested scheme have been likened to the results acquired by the well-known Runge-Kutta method, and these results display very nice harmony with the result obtained by the mentioned method. Also, it is noticed that the proposed technique is straightforward and gives the desired results in the whole solution domain.\u0000J. Bangladesh Acad. Alocasia macrorrhizos (L.) G. Don. was investigated cytogenetically to determine the karyotypic features. Complex chromocenter type, of interphase nuclei, and gradient type of prophase chromosomes were found in this study. Alocasia macrorrhizos was found to possesses 2n=28 chromosomes. The total length of the 2n chromosome complement was recorded as 98.83±1.39 μm. The range of chromosomal length was 2.50±0.10-4.70±0.10 μm. A gradual decrease in chromosomal length was observed. The total form (TF%) value was found to be 43.58%, Karyotype symmetry index (Syi %) was 77.00 % and karyotype asymmetry index (AsK %) was 56.66%. The centromeric formula was 18m+4sm+2ac, representing asymmetric karyotype. In DAPI banding, the 1.48% positive banded region indicates the lower amount of AT rich repeats in this material. Therefore, Alocasia macrorrhizos could be authentically characterized through karyotype analysis. \u0000J. Bangladesh Acad. As the flight speed increases, the power generated by the module increases but tends to saturate. When the conversion efficiency of photovoltaic modules is improved, the required power of the solar aircraft and the power generated by the photovoltaic modules are balanced at a faster flight speed. The power generated by the modules increases with the flight altitude but tends to saturate due to the drop of air temperature and the surface temperature of the module. The higher the altitude, the smaller is the atmospheric density, and atmospheric permeability, and the greater is the solar radiation intensity, and thus the power generated by the module increases. The power generated by the components is the strongest at noon. Battery performance is the strongest in summer and the weakest in winter, as the module’s performance is mainly determined by the intensity of solar radiation. Finally, the energy distribution of solar aircraft and long-time space flight has been discussed. J. Bangladesh Acad. Seven phytochemicals were tested from the ethanolic extract of Rosenvingea, where four phytochemicals, namely steroid, glycosides, alkaloids, and tannins were present. However, ethanol extract exhibited low antioxidant activity compared to standard ascorbic acid as measured by DPPH-Free radical scavenging assay. In Brine Shrimp lethality bioassay, 50% ethanolic extract showed an LC50 value of 10.88 mg/mL, whereas positive control (K2Cr2O7) showed LC50 59.97 µg/mL suggesting the less toxic property of the ethanolic extract. In-vitro antimicrobial activity of ethanolic extract of Rosenvingea sp. was investigated against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria species (Staphylococcus, Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Salmonella, and Klebsiella) by agar disc diffusion method. The highest antibacterial activity was noticed against Klebsiella pneumonia, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus hominis with a zone of inhibition of 5.00±1.00 mm, 3.66±0.57 mm, and 3.33±0.57 mm, respectively. This is the first study on Rosenvingea sp. from the Bay of Bengal, reporting its phytochemical, antioxidant, and antimicrobial potentiality. However, more study is required to elucidate its commercial viability in the food and medicine industries. \u0000J. Bangladesh Acad. Both commercially available and chemically synthesized nanoparticles were used. The suitability of the nanoparticles toward SERS activity was tested through UV-visible absorption spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The AgNPs and AuNPs based SERS substrates in the form of films were fabricated onto square-sized aluminum(Al) plates by simple drop deposition of colloidal nanoparticles solution onto their polished surfaces. The prepared nanoparticle films were sufficiently dried and coated further with the probe (R6G and KR) molecules by employing the identical deposition technique. The enhanced Raman signals of R6G and KR in such composite film structures were then recorded through a custom-built dispersive Raman spectrometer with He-Ne laser excitation at 632.8 nm. Our AgNPsfilm-based SERS protocol could yield the magnitude of the Raman signal enhancement up to 104 times for both R6G and KR. Moreover, AuNPs-based film was found to be less efficient toward the Raman enhancement of both compounds. Our SERS substrates can be easily fabricated, and SERS spectra are reproducible and stable, allowing one to consistently get a reproducible result even after 6 months. \u0000J. Bangladesh Acad.
