To exploit the design space of NoC, trace-driven simulation is often used. However, preparing traces of different numbers of cores for design space exploitation can be time-consuming and require huge storage. In this paper, we propose trace retailoring for fast and on-the-fly trace generation. The idea is to transform a seed trace for a certain number of cores to new traces for different number of cores. This is done by representing traces using a concise structure called attack board. Trace retailoring then becomes that of manipulating attack board, which can be used in turn to generate traces on-the-fly during simulations. Our evaluations show that the retail red traces can produce performance results close to real traces, and thus can be used for design space explorations.","PeriodicalId":149730,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Computer, Consumer and Control","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122118244","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accurate spectral analysis relies much on the correct identification of frequencies of the measured signals. In this paper, several commonly used methods for power system stationary and time-varying harmonic and interharmonic estimation are reviewed and compared according to the viewpoint of the frequency identification. It is expected to provide suitable guidelines for the future studies.","PeriodicalId":149730,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Computer, Consumer and Control","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124264301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to prevent damage to accelerator components induced by various events, design of the global machine protection system (MPS) is on-going. The MPS collects interlock signals and beam dump request from various subsystem, perform decision, transmit dump beam request to RF system. The MPS equipments are distributed on 24 CIAs (Control Instrumentation Areas) include a main PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) with remote I/Os, event receiver, transient capture module responsible for slow-interlock and fast-interlock, sequence events capture. Special input/output patch boards are designed for signal type conversion which is easily connectivity and trouble shooting. To protect the TPS accelerator equipments, the MPS should collect urgent beam dump requests to beam abort devices (most probably is RF system) within short and deterministic latency time (e.g. less than 10 msec). The PLC based system will be used as a slow MPS which can delivery less than 8 msec reaction time. The fast MPS will dependent on event based timing system to deliver response time less than 5 msec. Trigger signal for post-mortem will also be distributed by the fast MPS. To ensure alive of the system, several self-diagnostics mechanisms include heartbeat and transient capture will be implemented. The MPS architecture, plans and implementation were presented in this report.","PeriodicalId":149730,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Computer, Consumer and Control","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123967992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This model can endow the tires' slip ratio estimation of electric vehicles with a new aspect. With the manipulations of stochastic model, the purposes are to probe the asymptotic behavior of the states in a specific vehicle model. Three important results are obtained in this study. Firstly, under the specific framework, the state of Kalman filter has relation to the expectation. Secondly, for any fixed time period, as the Levy process decays to Brownian motion, the filtering states are the same. Finally, the system's controllability can be checked under the affections of stochastic injections.","PeriodicalId":149730,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Computer, Consumer and Control","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129693003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The docking structure is designed with one active degree of freedom and two passive degrees of freedom. The controller of the power detection devices is HOLTEK microchip, and acquires measurement values of the real-time current and voltage of the mobile robot and the docking stations. The power detection devices contain three power detection systems and one power detection module. The power detection system is embedded in the docking station and monitors the real-time information for the charging process. The controller of the mobile robot receives these measurement values from the power detection module via RS232 interface. The article focuses on the searching process using multiple sensors and a laser range finder for the mobile robot. The laser range finder searches the landmark of each docking station, and guides the mobile robot moving to the assigned docking station. In the experimental results, the power of the mobile robot is under the threshold value. The mobile robot selects the free and nearest docking station according to the received information from each docking station via wireless RF interfaces. The laser range finder guides the mobile robot moving approach to the assigned docking station. The power of the mobile robot is enough to be detected by the power detection module. The docking station turns off the charging current, and trigs the mobile robot leaving the docking station via wireless RF interface.","PeriodicalId":149730,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Computer, Consumer and Control","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130354028","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposed a novel rotation-invariant texture retrieval method which is based on complementary features. It firstly models the coefficients of sub bands with alpha-stable distribution and uses the fractional lower-order moment (FLOM) to capture the sub-Gaussian properties. Then estimate the so-called co variations between orientation sub bands as characteristic vectors of images. The next step is to construct a steer able multivariate sub-Gaussian model and deduce the rotation-invariant characteristic expression. Meanwhile make the low frequency energy statistics as part of the characteristics. Finally we choose a suitable distance function to measure the similarity between two images. The experimental results show that this method describes more image information, and it achieve a higher retrieval accuracy and it is a kind of effective way of rotation-invariant texture image retrieval.","PeriodicalId":149730,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Computer, Consumer and Control","volume":"298 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124279284","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By employing Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional method combined with the bounding technique, a sufficient condition is established that guarantees the robust stability for discrete-time uncertain genetic regulatory networks with infinite-distributed delays. A particular feature of the criterion is dependent on the lower and upper bounds of the discrete interval time-varying delays, and is therefore less conservative than the delay-independent ones. Simulation examples are to prove the feasibility and applicability for proposed result.","PeriodicalId":149730,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Computer, Consumer and Control","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117088157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
