The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with Roland Barthes's semiotic analysis approach, which examines signs through three stages of analysis namely denotation, connotation, mythology.The results of this study might reveal that the magazine cover of this edition shows the properties possessed by Mr. Jokowi as seen from the depiction of the face shape in the illustrations. The meaning of denotation, both the meaning of shadow, clothing and expression is illustrated, that the tempo magazine is a critical medium with the constitution and the spirit of democracy. While the connotation of the illustration is about the public's expectation of the revision of the KPK Law. As for the characteristics of President Jokowi's expression with his eyes closed and lips purely expressing something and his nose stretching out, that Mr. Jokowi is a liar. Furthermore, the mythological meaning found behind the illustration is a picture that contains assumptions about the unrelated Jokowi's promises and the President's responsibility towards the Revision of the KPK Law. Then in the headline and subheadline text and the black color in the nose's shadow, there is a provocation in it related to the ideology of the tempo magazine. The conclusion of this study, that the visual images contained in the magazine cover tempo \"Promise Staying Promise\" consisting of illustrations, text, and colors have a meaning contained therein. Internet including SNS provides a place for users freedom of expression without having to be bound by rules like in the real world. Instagram as one kind of SNS, provides an opportunity for individuals to create more than one user account. This feature helps user to create an original account (rinsta) and fake account (finsta) that drives self-manipulation. Self-manipulation on real and fake Instagram accounts related to how individuals carry out impression management. Individuals set a good impression on the original account, while showing the true character on the fake account. Self-manipulation on the Internet more affects the psychological state of individuals to emerge different characters in offline, real and fake accounts. This character difference becomes a form of online disinhibition effect. K-Pop fans use variety of media to connect with their idols and fandoms, but they still have a concern of their self-image will be damaged in others people perspectives who are neutral or dislike K-Pop. The advantage of Instagram being able to have more than one account is a way out for K-Pop fans to manipulate themselves. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with observations on real and fake K-Pop fan accounts, as well as interviews with users. The aim of the strategy in general is to determine and communicate a picture of vision and policy. The strategy describes the direction supported by various available resources. The communication strategy undertaken is macro and the process takes place vertically pyramid. In the context of science, Islamic communication has a main reference which is a way of life for Muslims, namely the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. These two main sources provide characteristics of Islamic communication. In addition to the Qur'an and Hadith, the books delivered by the scholars and other disciplines also contributed to the development of communication science in general and Islamic communication in particular. Islam is a guide to life, which has provided various instructions in all areas of human communication. The data collection method used for this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques used were direct observation and interview. This research is located in West Aceh Regency, precisely in JLN Sisingamangaraja No. 99 Gampa Village, Meungaboh Dirundeng STAIN Campus and informants in this study amounted to 8 people. Data analysis was performed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study conducted by the author show that the external communication network conducted by the ICMI organization (Indonesian Muslim Cendiawan Association) uses 3 indicators in it, namely (1) personal networks, where the relationships owned by the chairman and the management tend to be more frequent. (2) organizational networks, a link of elements in which they are interconnected. Building cooperation with other organizations, while the network is built usually through a daily board. (3) Global Network, an object that connects the ICMI network with other institutions. From the results the authors consider that the network built by ICMI of the West Aceh Order tends to be carried out by the daily chairman, the lack of involvement of the management in building the external network at the institution due to the factor of the vacuum of activities that had been agreed upon previously and the busyness of the management who work as lecturers, entrepreneurs, dayah leaders and so on. As well as it happens in Aceh, which is the only province in Indonesia applying  the islamic sharia. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the strategy of destination branding conducted by Department of Culture and Tourism in Aceh. The strategy is started from the vision and stakeholder management, target consumer and portfolio matching, positioning and differentiation strategies using brand components, communication strategies, feedback and response management strategies. The theory used to analyze this strategy is the theoretical principles of tourism destination branding. This study is qualitative descriptive with the case study method. Data collecting method is conducted through in-depth interviews with 8 informants coming from branding team, observations and documentation. The result shows that the strategy undertaken by Department of Culture and Tourism with the branding team of Aceh has been going well, especially in the marketing communication activity. It was marked with a plenty of program related to the implementation of marketing, either using print media, electronic media, billboards, and internet media, especially social media. However, in the branding activity, there are actually some obstacles should be faced, such as the industry player which is less cooperative to provide halal certification  for an  aprecondition for halal tourism, lack of budget allocation, and the low awareness of public participation. The print media platform is currently challenged to be able to improve to be able to maintain its existence amidst technological advancements. Tempo is one of the large print media platforms that until now is still popular with Indonesian audiences and is able to survive. This study aims to examine how Tempo implemented a digitalization system in the process of production and media management. The results of the study describe the Tempo digitalisation process emphasized on several sides: (1) optimizing the media convergence system, by integrating media management systems on print media, internet, e-paper and Tempo TV platforms; and (2) differences in content management on print and online media platforms. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The main research informant was Jono Suwito as an elder and handler in Kuda Lumping Bima Sakti Art. Research data was collected by conducting direct observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research indicated that the meaning of denotation of Kuda Lumping Bima Sakti Art as a whole is a show that in every movement there is a bond of dance in culture. There are also meanings of a community life and a religious belief. The connotation meaning of Kuda Lumping Bima Sakti Art is how to respond and believe that every culture has its own beliefs and from this connotation meaning, human must believe that God and supernatural exist. And the meaning of myth of Kuda Lumping Bima Sakti Art is that in daily life humans cannot be seperated from supernatural matters. Then the key to all of Kuda Lumping Bima Sakti Art rituals is that all movements have meaning from where the dance originated. The concept of citizenship embodied in the fourth principle of Pancasila which should interpreted as a citizen of the owner of supreme sovereignty in a country, it misinterpreted into objects which is influenced by the wisdom of the authorities, and the implementation of democracy is run solely limited to compliance with the rules and not within the framework to empower citizens. In the middle uncertainty of finding the ideal form of democracy, appear discourse on deliberative democracy which emphasizes the active participation of citizens through the media and the vocal organizations to play a very significant influence in the process of establishing the legal and political policies. If we explored it more deeply, this idea looks similar to the idea of Democracy of Pancasila which was popularized by the founding fathers of Indonesia. Due to the uncertainty about the fate of their existence, LGBT people are increasingly aggressively advocating for legal protection and LGBT legalization in Indonesia. Internet campaigns are mostly chosen by LGBT people as a media campaign for them. This can be seen from the rise of social media used by the Indonesian people, especially Facebook and Whatsapp. Based on the phenomenom described above, the researcher is trying to figure out how the campaigns are being conducted by LGBT people on Facebook and Whatsapp. This study used a library research method where the results showed that Facebook and Whatsapp were indeed social media followers of the LGBT campaign. Facebook and Whatsapp have their own LGBT group. The Facebook and Whatsapp chat pages also include emo, stickers and gifs with LGBT symbols such as rainbow colors, pride, gay words and other words and illustrations that lead to LGBT.
