Therefore, they will be ready to contend and to be an ambitious individual in the real world. All graduates are judged by their Grade Point Average (GPA). Therefore, in Indonesia, it is critical to maintaining a good GPA from the first semester until the graduation. Although the student is the main actor, it is not only their job to maintain the GPA. The good-grade university also needs to participate by helping them to get the best help and environment during the lecture. The university should able to create conducive learning environment to support and to help undergraduate students in maintaining a good GPA. The purposes of this paper are to identify and analyze the factors that affect a good performance of student's GPA, to give suggestions to education institution as a preventive action of low performance of student's GPA, and to design a successful model to achieve good GPA. Methodologies used in this paper are literature study, analysis at the University, model trial, and giving the result and solutions.","PeriodicalId":148221,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICSS)","volume":"134 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134022646","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because the pervasiveness of the problem scale, it may only be tamed effectively and efficiently by using an automatic grooming conversation detection system. Previously, Pranoto, Gunawan, and Soewito [1] had developed a logistic model for the purpose and the model was able to achieve 95% detection accuracy. The current study intends to address the issue by using Support Vector Machine and fc-nearest neighbors classifiers. In addition, the study also proposes a low-computational cost classification method on the basis of the number of the existing grooming conversation characteristics. All proposed methods are evaluated using 150 conversation texts of which 105 texts are grooming and 45 texts are non-grooming. We identify that grooming conversations possess 17 features of grooming characteristics. The results suggest that the SVM and fc-NN are able to identify grooming conversations at 98.6% and 97.8% of the level of accuracy. Meanwhile, the proposed simple method has 96.8% accuracy. The empirical study also suggests that two among the seventeen characteristics are insignificant for the classification.","PeriodicalId":148221,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICSS)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114561248","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Be it emotional, physical, intentional or unconscious, voice reveals the internal state of the speaker. Therefore, the main aim of the present study is to identify which voice parameter could be used as a reliable indicator of stress due to deception. For analyzing real life natural stress, the voice of crime suspects was recorded during ongoing interrogations at the police station. PRAAT software was used for analysis. Results indicated a significant increase in the mean fundamental frequency (F0) and formant frequencies F1, F2. Marginal decrease in jitter was observed, however, shimmer did not at all correlate to stress due to deception. Pitch contours indicated considerable rise in the pitch of crime suspects while answering specific direct questions. Thus, it was concluded that mean F0 and formant frequencies F1, F2 correlate strongly to stress.","PeriodicalId":148221,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICSS)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114561034","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The optimal of solving clustering problem occurs when the data joins in one group which has a similar category. This study combines Adaptive Genetic Algorithm, K-Means and Greedy Selection to solve clustering problem, named RAGKA. In first step, the centroid is determined by K-Means. Crossover and mutation are performed based on the fitness value of each centroid. At last, the greedy search is operated to get the better solution. To show the performance of RAGKA, five data sets of clustering problem are used. Moreover, RAGKA is compared with other methods as well. The result shows that RAGKA is successfully to solve cluster problem and outperforms than the others.","PeriodicalId":148221,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICSS)","volume":"253 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115589832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Revenue growth is also declined because legacy services are tend to decreased due to threat from OTTs. Therefore we need a strategy to be able to withstand these conditions, one of which is a glance at the digital market. Strategy to offer digital services is developed in order to increase operators' revenue through offering of Machine to Machine (M2M) services, where potential and digital ecosystem support of those services is promising. In reality, implementation of those digital services is not yielding significant effect on operators' revenue growth, thus they need new strategy with a new service innovation. This research aims to modeling an M2M services, into a Smart Connected Motorbike (SCM) services. Furthermore, this research also analyzes business model implementation of this service as a study case at PT.XYZ, where this service is expected to become a new revenue source. From system modeling result and business model analysis, it is revealed that implementation of Smart Connected Motorbike services practices multi-sided platform business model pattern that brings together two different groups of customers which are motorbike users/buyers and corporate customers. Moreover, this research analyses four business models approach to find appropriate implementation models of Smart Connected Motorbike services and additional revenue opportunities for PT.XYZ.","PeriodicalId":148221,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICSS)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133991437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Processing of data into useful information is indispensable. Crime trend prediction is helpful to make a decision in crime prevention activities. Other than that, law enforcement authority needs several decision options based on crime trend prediction. It is needed because prediction may contain an uncertainty. To obtain that needed a decision making system application is required. This paper presented a proposed decision making system application that can provide information about crime prevention decision options. The decision options are made based on crime forecasting and interval forecasting data. Every selection of each decision option is based on the level of crime forecasting limit range and crime forecasting values. To classify the limit range, then the distribution frequency is used. There is a high level, medium level and low level. Then, a decision options are made based on this level. The if-then rules are used for decision selection processes. The decision result in several probably conditions hopefully can help law enforcement authority for making better crime prevention decision. The system application for this process is named Crime Prevention Decision Support System (CreP-DSS).","PeriodicalId":148221,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICSS)","volume":"495 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123037198","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
