Molecular mechanisms of carbohydrate and fat metabolism are discussed which result in a vicious regulatory cycle to provoke a transition to stable pathology. Previously unknown role of human saliva in oral cavity in this regulatory cycle is revealed. New diagnostic tests are developed on the basis of the conception on IIDM pathogenesis. {"title":"[The MB1 family of repeats in clones from the genomes of mammals].","authors":"E V Korotkov","doi":"","DOIUrl":"","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>Members of MB1 family repeats are revealed in genomes of many mammals (cow, rabbit, opossum, horse, ...). The MB1 repeats from cow and rabbit genomes are mirror-reflected about the SINE families repeats from cow and rabbit genomes. The life time of MB1 repeats are no less than 100 million years. Classification of MB1 repeats from human genome using the information similarity was performed. This classification has revealed two subfamily MB1 repeats in human genome. {"title":"[The suppression of the chemiluminescence of mammalian cells by the metabolites of Crithidia oncopelti].","authors":"A L Lobashevskiĭ, N V Davydova, V M Uriniuk, N N Sukhareva","doi":"","DOIUrl":"","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>Effect of water-soluble (polypeptides) fraction (PF) of Crithidia oncopelti on the chemiluminescence of human blood cells and murine splenocytes was studied. The study has shown that PF possessed a capacity to inhibit oxygen-dependent killer system of polymorphonuclear leucocytes in dose-dependent manner. This effect was of a complex nature. The inhibitory effect of PF was demonstrated also in respect to murine mononuclear phagocytes and splenocytes. It was established that the dynamics of human death rate from the birth to extreme old age is conditioned by age-related changes in the energy of metabolism. {"title":"[The technology for isolating the avian myeloblastosis virus in high titers from leukosis-free chicks].","authors":"E V Rat'kin, E G Piker, E V Zlotina","doi":"","DOIUrl":"","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>In order to enhance the outcome of high-quality reverse transcriptase enzyme, an efficient biotechnology was developed of accumulating and isolating the avian myeloblastosis virus (AMV) in high titres from blood plasma of leukosis-free chickens. When commercial chickens are infected in most sensitive one-day age, the virus titre does not exceed the value of 10(12) particles per 1 ml of plasma. We used 3-4-day old leukosis free chickens and achieved a stable average titre of the virus of 5.10(12) particles/ml due to adaptation of the virus to such chickens and their selection for a high sensitivity to AMV.</p>","PeriodicalId":14529,"journal":{"name":"Izvestiia Akademii nauk SSSR.
